Toybox US – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Have 3 3d printers. This was the first one. It was great at the start! After 700 prints (probably 250 print hours total?) it completely stopped working. I tried to print a 30 minutes print, and barely tapped the printer, and it turned off AFTER HALF THE PRINT WAS DONE!? There is no power outage recover, no pause button (my other 2 printers have both of these. They are a standard for 3d printers). The only thing you can do with a print after it's started is cancel it. Plus, the toybox "Official" Filament is over $60 per Kilogram. But, the toybox official filament works worse than my Creality filament (which costs less than $20 per kilogram). Plus, toybox makes you think that they have the only filament you can use on the printer. Ever since toybox released Toybox "Plus," they charge for every feature, and you can't print most of the toys. If the "engineers" at Toybox had a clue on what they were selling, (most of them probably never used a 3d printer in their lives) they would figure out that it would be best to take there printers off the market. Other printers such as the Bambu Labs A1 mini cost $199, wheras Toybox's "Comet" costs the low price of $349. Maybe the toybox is easier for kids, but for nearly double the price, it's not worth. In my opinion, toybox should never sell another 3d printer again. Stay Away!

I was duped into a sign up- first knowledge was a subscription fee taken. I Cancelled immediately- which was ignored and further fee taken, claiming that I cancelled 2 weeks later so further fees could be taken

Got issue first connect and works well after resetting. Helpful and quick staff, fantastic product. Kids just loving it.

Unfortunately the software is just really bad. Mainly the ability to connect the printer to wifi and the iPad. We had bough 20 printers for staff and this issue was persistent across different devices, phones and wifi setup. Eventually, like after 2h, you might get it to connect. Just to find that for the next time use you need to do it again! The device is well build but unless the App is updated so that wifi is a stable connection I really cannot recommend. Which is a bummer as in principle it’s an easy thing to have and use for the kids.

I bought a three month supply of gifts from this company for my grandaughter in December 2022. I did not authorize any more, yet this business has just told me that they have charged me for another three months.
