Tannico UK – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I ordered a Pillitteri icewine last week and was worried that it might not be received in time. I contacted customer service via E-mail to explain the concern. My E-mail was responded to quickly and I was advised of the standard ETA to the UK of 4-5 days. I requested the order still be put through and hoped for the best. It was Thierry who I liaised with via E-mail - he is polite and responsive. I ordered on Tuesday evening and it was with me on Friday!! Amazing service and super-fast dispatch and delivery. Great selection of wines that you can't get in the UK, timely delivery, kept updated about delays. Overall a great experience. I ordered two half cases of wines from Salento that you can't get in the UK, as a domestic customer. Prices are a little high compared to buying from the cantine.. but you'd have to go Italy to do that so it doesn't feel excessive. Moreover, shipping was free with the order value. It was clear to me that the company was based in Italy and items would be shipped from there and I was prepared to wait some time for the goods to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised when the first consignment arrived within 3 working days of placing the order. The second box was delayed; however the shipper's app kept me updated and it arrived intact today. Perhaps I was lucky, but I would highly recommend for their selection of hard-to-find Italian wines. If you have something very specific in mind, and are buying by the case, you can't fault this service. If you are in a hurry or after a single bottle, this might not be the right place.
