Steve Madden Canada – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

This brand is horrible. I bought a pair of heels for the first time, and they haven’t even lasted 3 weeks of wear without falling apart. The worse part is, when you try to post a review on their website, they delete it if it is not a positive review. Their website and brand is full of false advertisement. After posting my review of the shoes on their website, it got removed. How can anyone see real reviews this way? I don’t expect much for a brand that rips off other brands. I would avoid purchasing from Steve Madden. It’s not worth your money, and the shoes hurt your feet after wearing it for 2 hours.

decent quality but cutting edge fashion

I ordered 6 items right before Christmas. They shipped one that arrived 5 days later (paid for express 1-3 day). The remaining items showed as preparing for the next 3 weeks until the order was cancelled without any notice. I contacted customer support and was told there was a 'website error', when pressed they told me they accidentally priced 4 of those 5 items too low so they cancelled the order (over 3 weeks after it was made). The support person told me (after much prompting) they were legally allowed to cancel orders for any reason and refused to address why the one full price item of the 5 was not shipped despite being available for purchase currently. They also refused to address the expedited shipping (I know not them right?) which seems to have been charged on the full order but not refunded (I am still unclear if a refund has been issued, only that the order is cancelled). They offered 20% off one full priced item for my inconvenience in the cancellation email (currently you get 15% if you send them your email address), but it hardly makes up for 5 items that did not arrive. Lesson learned, she enjoyed the shoes that came in, but I will not order from them again.

Really disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a page of faux leather boots last summer and after only 30 wears the plastic was peeling off all over them. I reached out to STEVE MADDEN through the contact page on the website to ask if I could receive a discount code to buy a new pair of a similar style. They offered me the same discount code as what one would get if they just go to the website and subscribe to email marketing. I responded telling them that and how I felt disappointed by what they were offering me. The customer service rep who replied to me was extremely passive aggressive in a friendly "thanks for choosing Steve Madden! Have a great day!" way and didn't even acknowledge anything I was saying. It was infuriating as a customer. Don't purchase products from this unsustainable company.
