The customer support is terrible. The website says "We Make A Promise To ALWAYS Make Things Right." but that is not true. I sent a question about a coupon not working. No response. I contacted them again and got an email reply that didn't even address my question. It was a deflection answer.

Maud's has great coffee and I'm a subscriber, but like so many here, I'm disgusted with their customer service and poor fulfillment times, which they continue to blame on the shippers. I submitted an order for their breakfast blend on September 4th. It's now September 13th. They have my payment, but my order still shows "unfulfilled" and I dread the thought that I will have to contact their customer service to attempt to cancel this order. Their standard response is, "We have to contact the warehouse. It's up to the warehouse to cancel it." Then they place you on hold and claim the warehouse didn't answer, but they'll try to contact them again. I have a separate subscription order that bills on time, and the coffee "usually" arrives within a week. They advertise their subscription service with "never run out of coffee". I'm always out of coffee by the time it gets here, and I wind up having to buy coffee from Amazon to use in the interim. Maud's also has a rewards program that benefits you nothing. I've been a customer for several years and I have rewards built up, but if you try to use them, you are billed for shipping even though their policy states free shipping on order over $29.99, which my orders always are. Long story short, I'm getting fed up. Green Mountain runs a close second to Maud's, and I don't have the frequent headaches with unfilled orders or exploding coffee pods, so it may be time to bail out altogether. Many companies have gone to you-know-where since the lockdowns, and Maud's is one of them.

Good coffee, fair prices, but terrible customer support. I have issues with my orders (and trying to redeem "beans" (loyalty credits) ) occasionally and I hardly get responses that make sense - you can tell the person on the other end doesn't read the question/concern. I raised this from 3 to 4 stars because my most recent issue (which prompted the 3 star review) was finally rectified. I love the coffee and hope not to deal with customer support anymore.

I have a subscription for Maud’s half-caff coffee pods with this company. I’m supposed to receive a shipment every two months. I was charged for a shipment on January 17, 2023. It is now March 9, 2023 and I still don’t have the coffee. When I check my order on their website, it says it’s “unfulfilled”. I’ve contacted the company several times and have been told it will be taken care of, but it hasn’t. Now, I’m trying to get my money back. I like their coffee, but they can’t be trusted to fulfill orders.

I have been ordering from Intelligent Blends for about a year now. I love the variety of coffees, and the pods are recyclable. The Kona is my go-to, and the Roasters Reserve is my splurge! Affordable, fast and free shipping, and good coffee!
