Shearer Candles – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

The tin turned into a fire. Terrible customer service I have bought many candles with no issues, however my latest purchase was a very different story. The candle was low, and I turned around to find the tin was on fire, with flames reaching pretty high from it. It had singed the flowers that were nearby and the metal wick holder had flew off and was burning through a book. I grabbed the molten hot tin using my thick dressing gown as a barrier, and ran to the sink where I managed to submerge it and extinguish the fire, I then ran back and grabbed the smouldering flowers and books from the coffee table and also submerged them. The tin was so hot it burnt several holes through my clothing and badly burnt my hand, I immediately contacted the company as I was worried there was an issue with the batch and someone else could be hurt, or worse… It has now been 5 days and other than to acknowledge my messages no one has been in contact with me. Without me being in sight of the room and my quick response it is very likely my house would have been set alight.

Another very professional order from Shearer Candles, beautiful scents and, very importantly; really well-wrapped, as usual.

Bought 2x cranberry and ginger pillar candles. Absolutely no scent into the room. Have a smaller tin candle which fills the room. And one wick keeps giving off black smoke no matter how well it's trimmed. To make matters worse, if you want to leave a review on their website, using a chromebook only allows you to select 5 stars. Last time I'll give good money to this company. Expect much more.
