Edit: I have changed my star rating as Pop in a Box have offered to credit my account with £15 to allow for the discount. ————————————— Misleading promotional offers. I signed up to the mailing list because I was incentivised by the offer of 10% off any in stock item. I received the discount code, but was disappointed to see that the code wouldn’t activate with the product I was trying to buy. As the product had money off already, apparently the code wasn’t valid. This was not made clear in the mailing list pop up request. This is misleading. I will not be purchasing anything from this site or any of THG’s affiliates. Shady business practice and anti-consumer. Edit: I have been asked to send extra info to Pop In A Box - I have sent them my phone number and full name, but I obviously couldn’t send an order number as I was unable to proceed with the order due to the discount not working. Edit 2: it’s been a couple of hours now and I haven’t heard anything. I would think the replied Pop in a Box issue on trust pilot are damage limitation, meaning they appear like they are addressing concerns when in fact nothing happens. Shady.
