Great service and delivery time. Bought a Spector ceiling fan with remote. Please ask your suppliers to include the missing 12 volt remote battery. The fan cannot be operated without the remote. After wiring is complete and power is turned back on, the fan comes on by default. Problem is it can't be turned off until a battery for the remote is obtained.(Not everybody has a 12v battery in the kitchen drawer) Sure ,you can turn off the breaker to the fan. Trouble is other lights around the house use the same breaker. For the sake of a $2 battery, surely one could be included in the box the same way as when one buys a new tv. The remote and batteries are usually included.
