NEXT Insurance – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

This is the absolute most less than useless insurance company on this planet. NEXT insurance is pure garbage at best and on their best day useless.

An absolute joke of a company. I purchased general liability business insurance through Next in August. The low monthly rate is fine. The problem arises when you actually have an issue and need to speak to someone who can help. I simply wanted to add property insurance to my policy and was passed around three different times, given 4 separate phone numbers to call, with each and every agent telling me that they were unable to simply add the coverage to my existing account. Each one said they had no access to the policy to be able to do that. I have never in my life seen a company that operates in such a careless, customer service devoid way. I should be able to easily add this coverage from the website like any other normal company, yet this feature does not exist. Agents are virtually useless and will give you the run around. I am canceling my policy and going with a real company.

Easy to obtain and setup, and inexpensive. But no Humans appear available, it’s very difficult if not impossible to actually verify with a person that the insurance is active, and if you have a problem and need it, good luck making a claim. Clearly a sketchy scheme by some shady tech bro attempting to be a ‘thing’. They will hound you relentlessly with emails, there is no link to unsubscribe, no links to talk to a person. Once you cancel your policy you can’t go and close your account, they want to keep your information and credit card on file forever, I guess. All around it was a greasy, unreliable experience.

here is another example of what happens when tech bros and Wall Street think that they can "disrupt" a market by automating everything. they make it worse. Can you get lower priced insurance? Maybe. But is there customer service? Can you get help when something goes wrong? Is someone making sure that you actually have the coverage you need? No. So lower prices come at a very high price.

Wasn’t straightforward getting PL insurance and then was difficult to cancel.
