I have been a customer of MRP for over 8 years. This January I under paid my account. I understand this is my fault, but my case was referred to attorneys the month after. No phone call, no email. I short paid an R7000 account by R170. So, I paid up and feeling very disgruntled. I requested an account closer. This process is unlawful I feel. How can you deny a customer to close their account. The customer service agent closed my case by asking me to pay in full and check my statement. But this is what I did, now I must wait for the next month's statement? So, I did. I paid again, because there is like 6 deductions for this cover and that cover for debt insurance and theft insurance. No, My account is in credit and guess what. They refuse still. They will rather me use my credit. Mr. Price, I will not spend another sent on this company in my life if I could help it. For 8 years and all I get is an SMS informing me my debt was handed to lawyers. For less than R200. Your "very helpful" customer care could have just reached out. And now that I want to leave, I am denied this.

Hi team I am not happy, about the service that I received from Mr Price table when I went there on the 27th of February 2021. I got there to collect the my laybye the lady Jamie lee Japri who was helping me came.and took my lay bye number and disappeared for 30 minutes then the manager came rudely threw my money that was on the counter as I was to pay .he then rubbed the sale details . Jamie came back and asked for my lay bye number again and I asked what she was doing for 30 minutes and she said she was looking for my lay bye without my.lay bye number in sealed bags . The manager Brian came and I asked him what his employee was doing for 30 minutes without a laybye number and he was rude I them asked him why he was taking us for a joke and he refused to help me. We then gave the lady my lay bye number again and she went for another 30 minutes so we spent more than an hour in the shop. When I told Jamie I was going to put in a complaint she rolled her eyes and told me to tag her in the complaint which made me believe that they get away with treating customers bad.
