Memrise – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Memrise is going to remove all community-made courses from their program. Unfortunately. I had bought a life-time subscription for being able to use just these community-made courses offline. When I explained my situation, they booked back the full amount of my life-time subscription fee I had bought last year. That is a fair policy, for which I am grateful.

Tout d'abord,ce que je trouve bien concernant cette plateforme est le fait d'être complémentaire aux autres méthodes d'apprentissage,en donnant un contact avec la langue des natifs. Les répétitions ont un rôle essentiel pour apprendre de nouvelles choses. C'est vraiment nécessaire de commencer avec Memrise ! Un grand Merci !

I've been using Memrise for my language journey and must say, it's far superior to Doulingo in my opinion. My favourite feature is learn with natives, it provides an authentic leaning experience. I've completed five German courses. The user-friendly interface and clear progression make my progress easy. The structured courses and spaced repetition ensure knowledge retention.

J'ai eu des difficultés à progresser au niveau A2 en italien avec l'application Babbel. Cependant, j'ai découvert une alternative qui m'a facilité l'apprentissage de la langue : une autre application dont je suis très satisfait. Je pense que pour les personnes qui rencontrent des difficultés avec Babbel, cette nouvelle application peut apporter un véritable avantage dans l'apprentissage d'une langue étrangère. Personnellement, j'ai constaté une amélioration significative de mes compétences linguistiques depuis que j'utilise cette nouvelle application. Je recommande donc vivement cette alternative à tous ceux qui cherchent une méthode efficace pour apprendre une langue étrangère.

Memrise is an excellent tool for memorizing specific words and phrases, unlike any other app, where vocabulary constantly slips out of your mind. It has a superior authenticity compared to other programs, especially Duolingo: Memrise's courses have absolutely zero nonsense content, and most vocabulary is followed by a video of real natives saying it, leading to correct pronunciation. Plus, if you discover a gap in one of its official courses, you can usually find a user-created course that fills in that gap. In addition to courses, Memrise makes language learning even more enjoyable by enabling users to watch further authentic videos (though some require a subscription) and testing writing skills with a robot. So the app is useful, enjoyable and doesn't bombard you with email notifications every day, like "Do a lesson today!!" or something like that. (The ads are also not that annoying, IMOH, which goes against Duolingo (and the fact about email notifications) The only issues: 1. Video & Listening exercises sometimes malfunction: clicking on the video / speaker button doesn't work 2. The Difficult Words can be quite annoying for non-subscribers only. If you accidentally got a word wrong due to a misclick in Speed review, it's automatically marked as Difficult (sometimes it marks it as difficult when you get it right!), but you have to rummage through hundreds or thousands of words to find the one word, and then keep on doing reviews for that Level in order to reach that word and undo the Difficult words. Just curious, because if Difficult Words are a Pro feature then why give the frustrating "half" to non -Pro users. 3. Leads to the final issue: non-Pro subscribers are given the buttons for Pro features, e.g. Difficult words, Learn with Locals. It can be somewhat irritating to have obstacles to your learning path.
