Living with dog hair from a chocolate Labrador for the last two years with a traditional mid range upright vacuum and struggling to keep on top of the hair on hard wood floor downstairs we decided to bite the bullet and invest in a robot vacuum. We researched and decided on the Roomba Combo j9+ Robot Vacuum and mop. It was easy to set up, mapping is excellent and schedule functionality easy to use. Since we took delivery, we no longer notice excessive dog hair and the vacuum does not get clogged over time, something that our traditional vacuum struggled with. I would highly recommend this vacuum if you have a shedding dog and are struggling keep your floor free of dog hair. Very happy so far.

I contacted irobot to see if I could order a replacement brush cover as it broke. Initially they wanted me to send it back for a technician to look at it for a cost of £50 plus the cost of the part. They reviewed my request and have very kindly sent a replacement part to me. Much appreciated.

Having read some of the reviews here after ordering a robot I was a little worried. I had to deal with customer services on several occasions after my new robot had a fault. I found each time the agent to be friendly and helpful, and carried out the tasks they promised. Ultimately I got a refund on my robot as the replacement robot had the same fault. For anyone reading the bad reviews here, it is not the experience I had. However I will say that when you call customer services, you can be in a queue for a long time (30 min+ sometimes). I found it best to call as soon as they opened (9am UK), which although would usually still mean waiting, I had more success in getting through. I feel they are probably understaffed as I often spoke to the same person.

The iRobot is an absolute game-changer! From the moment I brought it into my home, it revolutionized the way I approach cleaning. This little marvel has taken the drudgery out of vacuuming and made it a breeze. Just some background. I'm a bird lover and have an African Grey and 6 Cockatiels who happily throw seed all over the place. I used to vacuum the conservatory at least four times a day which became a real pain in a backside. Firstly, the floor mapping is mind-blowing. It did a brilliant job of it. The app lets you name areas of your home, and it accurately divides each room. The great thing is you can schedule when you want the iRobot to mop and hoover. The iRobot's smart technology is truly impressive. It effortlessly navigates through my home, gliding under furniture and around obstacles with ease. It leaves no corner untouched, ensuring every inch of my floor is spotless. Plus, its ability to adapt to different floor types is remarkable. Maintenance is a breeze too, with easy-to-clean parts and a straightforward setup process. The iRobot has become an indispensable part of my daily life, and I can't imagine going back to traditional vacuuming. It's efficient, reliable, and a true game changer for anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine.

Realised I haven't reviewed my iRobot product before now when a reminder came up on my phone as to how long we have had it. We have an iRobot 700 series for 7 years now and it is still going strong! Changed the brushes and heads a couple of times but despite not doing it as regularly as recommended it still works really well, as it did when new. Just ordered the handheld accompaniment so fingers crossed that has the same lifespan!
