Not cheap, but they last more than a few mths, some I'm wearing for the second yr, and they have delayed me needing a foot operation for arthritis, bone spurs, and toe realignment, and with they're brill soles Achilles tendinitis is less often now, to avoid the expense I tend to bulk buy twice a yr in the sales, and with a guarantee of 90 days exchange or refund I'm happy, and so are my feet.

I too am puzzled by the negative reviews, although it is worth remembering that there are branches of Hotter all over the country and no two people are going to have the same experience - we're talking about human beings here! My own experience has been nothing but good, especially when things have gone wrong. I wanted a pair of pumps but the only ones in my size were the display ones. They fit, but the display one was a bit faded - an offer was made to order another pair but I suggested that I would buy them with a discount - 20% was offered - deal done! After a polish the difference in colour was hardly noticeable. My next experience was even better - last summer I bought a pair of toe posts to take on holiday, but after a while it was clear that they did not suit my feet - my left foot was rolling inwards on them. On my return I took them back to the shop, explained, demonstrated and was offered any shoe in the shop for the price I'd paid (receipt produced). As there was a sale on at the time I came away with a beautiful pair of summer shoes which I have almost worn to death. So, when you're buying shoes, it's always a good idea to try them on, walk around the shop in them for five minutes or so and don't be beguiled - if they hurt, gape or slop don't buy them. As for online purchases I would seriously recommend you have them delivered to your nearest store, if you can, where issues can be dealt with immediately. It would save a lot of time and anguish!

I love Hotter shoes the only gripe I have is when I buy sandals.After a couple of days the inner sole goes dark making them look as though my feet were dirty when I wore them. If the inner sole could be darker that would be 100% perfect.

I have purchased 4 different pairs of your shoes and they have been the most comfortable best fitting shoes ever purchased. The fact you have wide in many styles really help! Thank you for better shoes than any I have found Linda G.
