We absolutely love staying here. The cottage is just beautiful inside and out. It's spotless inside and every small detail is taken care of. It is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great for exploring. We really enjoyed our morning visit form Clive the cat who always joined us for breakfast and taking our food waste over to the pigs. This place is a joy to stay at I can't fault it in any way. Thank you Graham and Julie for another wonderful holiday stay.

Cottage was good and more or less as described however Holiday Cottages service was not great. Did not send joining instructions as promised two weeks before. Had no one available to help on live chat with this despite supposedly open till 9pm (we tried to contact about 3 pm on Friday and eventually left an email which was not answered till Monday afternoon. When we did get travel instructions we found they directed us to a road which was closed. I alerted Holiday Cottages to this so they could alter the directions for others travelling the same way but nothing was done. Probably wouldn’t use Holiday Cottages again

Lumberjack Lodge is a lovely and peaceful place to stay. It is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The bedroom and shower room are small, but the living area is generous and everywhere is very nicely furnished. The secure back garden was a little sun trap, and a huge bonus for us and our dog. We were blessed with good weather and spent time outside enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside. The Bridge Inn is a (very) short walk away down a quite steep path. They only do food at weekends, but we popped in for a drink mid-week. It has an unusual set up of a tent/marquee with an outside bar, plus patio heaters. However, we were warmly welcomed and spent some time chatting to other customers and their dogs. All in all, if you want a relaxing get-away, Lumberjack Lodge is a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Communication issue resolved quickly, but most impressive when Casey E went above and beyond, following up after her working hours to ensure issue completely resolved. Booking was easy, no issues. Would be happy to book with this company again and lovely property
