Very easy to use, lots of choice, good pricing and the car was delivered speedily and everything looked fine. Unfortunately the car I bought turned out to have a fault (not detectable on a routine service) which meant I had to return it. I can't fault Heycar on their process, the car was collected on a date to suit me and the money refunded within two working days. So even though it didn't work out for me this time, I would use Heycar again because their aftercare was very good.

Good place to buy used car

Very pleased with my new car and the sales service from both Heycar and the after sales service from the dealer selling the car (Hendy Portsmouth). Heycar could improve by providing clear details of the warranty which I had to engage the the dealer to find out. But other than that my experience was smooth.

Caught a good deal which was offering £500 off, free delivery and a couple of other things such as the concierge service for free. 2 week moneyback guarantee 3 months warranty (although still waiting on paperwork to come through for that) Signing up to the free concierge was quick and easy, the woman I spoke to was great and said I get a voucher for fuel (haven't received this yet though). Communication from the dealer directly has been brilliant and really informative and could answer any question I had so shout out to John Clark mini Aberdeen. The car was really clean and in perfect condition when it arrived too. Plus they followed up to see how I was getting on with my car and will be helping me to reinstate the original plate of the car. Cons to using heycar While it says free delivery of vehicle it isn't very clear when buying the car that if you have it delivered, then it is driven to you, and not transported on a loader. I also didn't think it was clear on the website the location that the car was coming from when initially purchasing (postcode suggested Liverpool, but then told the actual location was in Aberdeen) This meant the drive down to me added on an extra 450+ miles. Also the original car listing stated the mileage was 400 less than when it set off. So by the time the car reached me it had 1000 miles extra on the clock from the moment I purchased. Also I felt that when showing an interest in a car heycar are calling and getting in touch all the time but once you hand over the money for purchase, I felt I was having to chase them more for information and I had a few emails that never got replies, so ended up calling. Option 2 when ringing always hung me up saying there was noone available every time I tried. So ended up clicking option 1 for their sales team who picked up every time and were able to help thankfully. When arranging delivery, arguably the most important part of the process, the man I spoke to was clearly in a very loud office and I was struggling to hear him, although he kept saying I kept breaking up, so that was a bit annoying. The car delivery, I was told it would arrive on a Thursday evening from the paperwork. The Wednesday before I had a call from the driver saying if I'm still fine to take the delivery on Friday! This was slightly annoying as I'd taken the day off of work on Thursday. All worked out in the end though and the delivery driver was great and kept me informed along the way. Also the code for my road tax sent through from heycar was wrong initially as they missed a digit but after calling managed to sort. Overall I'm happy with the car I've purchased and would consider going through heycar again if I was struggling to find a car I liked from a local dealership. I would make sure to ask all the questions directly to the dealer to get the full picture though.

Great experience with Heycar. I bought a car with them that was very competitively priced. The car was miles off from my location, but with Heycar that wasn’t an issue, they did everything right to ensure I was delivered the car free of charge. I was concerned to buy a car online as my mates spend a great deal of time and effort to view cars first and then make up their minds. As such I was a tad worried about my decision to buy one fully online, but trust me I have no regrets whatsoever! It all appears bit too good to be true with their deal, but they are a genuine company backed by a good customer services team. My car arrived in time and in great condition. I had issues due to my own mistake with the complementary fuel card they give to some customers, but their customer services team went above and beyond to address the issue for me which wasn’t really due to their fault. All in all genuine company which gave me a really good car at right price and has a great customer service team! I won’t hesitate to use them again and definitely recommend Heycar.
