Not honest

Forced to return phones multiple times because they either didn't work or was not as described.

They are not as honest as they claim to be

I ordered a refurbished Galaxy s9 plus via their ebay store. It arrived very promptly and was in the sort of condition I would expect for a phone listed as "good" condition. What I was surprised by is that it was an American model linked to AT&T. At first I did not think this was too much of an issue, however after a few days of research I found out that if any updates were released I would not be able to update the firmware of my phone without side loading or flashing my phone. I should have requested a refund as soon as I noticed this and instead left it as the phone was working very smoothly and unfortunately I had left very positive feedback for them after 24 hours of use. Then a crack developed in the glass back of the phone overnight without any obvious reason as to why. I had an s9 since they had come out and had never had any issues with the back glass plating on my old phone. This one appeared out of nowhere without being dropped, roughly handled or bent and the photos I sent through clearly showed there was no additional damage to the phone. I was offered a chance to send the phone back for repair or replacement, however I decided not too as the cost would be more than the cost of a replacement glass panel. Plus there was no guarantee that I would get a phone that could be updated in Australia. They did not advertise their product as American stock, it was clearly listed as Aus stock which I took to mean that it would be an Australian update compatible phone. They were polite in their emails and reasonably helpful until I mentioned that I put a hydro gel cover over the front of the phone to cover the scratches and protect it form more harm. They sent a generic email stating my warranty had been voided for modifying my phone. I sought clarification as to why and they backpedaled stating they misunderstood what I had done to the phone. By this stage it was pretty clear that I had messed up by not getting a refund the second I realised the phone was not an Australian model. The crack in the paneling had already put me on the back foot despite it not being my fault as there was no way I could prove it happened of its own accord. This left all the power in their hands and the cost of insured postage was far too costly to run the risk of paying for a warranty job only to have them deny any liability. Looking at their reviews many people have had similar issues and gotten nowhere quickly or been offered a "new" phone at a slightly lower than advertised price so I decided to cut my losses and never buy from them again. I take partial responsibility for this as I should have demanded a full refund when I discovered the phone was not an Australian model. Having said that they should also be very clear in their product descriptions what a buyer is getting in to.

Dodgy website and obviously fake reviews

I was thinking about buying a mobile phone from here but seeing the reviews not being great with obviously internal staff placing the only good ratings. also i found in a Samsung Galaxy A8 (Refurbished) description is randomly placed HAHAHA's throughout ie. Whether out at night or caught in the dark, you'll capture the scene clearly with the HAHAHAHHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAroved low-light capability on the Galaxy A8 and A8+'s rear camera. Its bright F1.7 lens, larger 1.12㎛ pixels, and bigger 1/2.8” sensor bring in light from the environment to make photos crisp and detailed. Get informed without waking up your phone. The Always on Display screen is always available and contains HAHAHAHHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAortant information like date, time, notifications, and even battery level. If they cant even get the website organised and looking professional why would anyone even consider purchasing anything .
