Last Forever New Reviews from Trustpilot

I ordered a dress on 21 December and was informed the following day that it was out of stock and that a refund was being processed (even though the dress was still displaying on the website as in stock in the size I'd ordered). Just over two weeks later I emailed customer services as I still hadn't received the refund. They told me that there had been a problem with the automatic refund and that a manual refund request had been passed to the relevant team for processing. Ten more days passed, and still no refund, so I emailed again. This time I was told that they couldn't currently process any refunds as they'd been having a problem with their system, and that I would be informed when they refunded me - however, the previous day they had processed a refund for another item I'd returned to them, so I'm not convinced the system story was true. I replied to say that I'd get my credit card company to pursue the matter under Section 75 of the UK Consumer Credit Act up, as the item was over £100 and by that point it was a month since I'd placed the original order. Forever New didn't reply, and I haven't heard anything more from them, but I suddenly received the refund yesterday. I would definitely never order from the company again and would not recommend it to anyone else. I just wish I'd read the other TrustPilot reviews before I'd placed my order, as this does not seem to have been an isolated incident.

They have agreed they have received my return but after a month I’m still waiting for the refund money.

I ordered a dress on the 28th October for a party for the 16th November. My emails were ignored conveniently until after the party. I reached out on Instagram and was told my order has been 'lost' in a system update, but have seen other comments complaining of the same issue. I just received an email today, a month later saying the item is out of stock. It is now sold out everywhere. I have been really unimpressed with forever new customer service. The international number costs to call for UK buyers so you can't speak to anyone, no one replies to emails, so you have to wait for people to reply on social media to resolve an issue. I wasn't offered any compensation like a discount or anything, just asked if I wanted the item yes or no. Obviously I do! You should process the order anyway! Such an infuriating experience. Seriously, sort out your international services before selling abroad. Ridiculous.

Have ordered their dresses before via John Lewis and had a good experience. However, ordered a dress on their website to receive an email 2 days later saying it was out of stock. Had to return some other items in the order but returns aren’t free and it cost me £10 at the Post Office. For the price of the clothing (dresses £69-£100) I’m disappointed that this was the case. If I’d read the returns section on the website before ordered I would have realised this and won’t be making this mistake again

Ordered a dress with the 15% off for new customers, as soon as it was ordered they advertised 20% off your next order. Thought this was firstly a bit cheeky when you’ve just ordered something for £100 - it doesn’t make you feel good about what you’ve just purchased if it’s thrown in your face you could have it cheaper. Secondly how much are these products worth if you’re giving discounts with every order? Sale items go from £100 to £16 and looking at other reviews it’s not great quality. I messaged them straight away after the order, and received a patronising response, decided to cancel the order as paying £100 was obviously a con - they conveniently took days to answer this email and then said it was too late to cancel. Overall seems dodgy and cheap stuff being sold for more than it’s worth.
