Called and used the English service, after my flights were cancelled by the airline. Was told I had to contact the airline myself which clearly states on the airlines website to contact the OTA. Went back to Expedia Who claimed they couldn’t do anything!! What was the point of using expedia if they dont do their job. I got lucky Japanese customer service fixed my problem. But from reading About the thousands of people on expedia victims facebook page 3000+) I cant rate a company just because I got lucky.

My flights (leaving 2nd of May) have been cancelled because of coronavirus. I understand this and that Expedia are very busy. I received an email that because my flights are cancelled, I will receive airline credit and details will follow. That email was from 13th April. I haven't received any details. Also I want a refund not flight credit. When I call to talk to them, they ask for my itinerary number. But when I give it, they hang up on my automatically because my flights are cancelled. How can I talk to you? Why is your process so broken? I understand you are busy but you have got to provide some facility for people to talk to you, even if they have to wait in a queue or something. This is incredibly stressful as it's not a small amount of money.

The company changed the name of my booking. I have called for over 2 weeks for over 1 hour everyday and they don't take my calls. Avoid this company.

I used it many times to book flights, hotels and "things to do". Sometimes prices may be a bit cheaper elsewhere, but the customer care is what makes the difference in my opinion. They respond quickly and in English, and are very helpful. Once my journey got cancelled because of adverse weather conditions. I was helped to recover some of the money although I had purchased non-refundable products. I highly recommend.

Condescending and lacking in empathy. At first they just sent me a ton of documents on their coupon policy, which was overwhelming and tough to understand. Next, they sent me two messages about hotels when I was inquiring about flights. The tone was very dismissive, and not once did they answer my question about where to enter coupon codes. I don’t want to use them again, they are incompetent.
