D1 Milano – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

A seguito di un problema - probabilmente accentuato da una mia poca attenzione- ho pubblicato una recensione qui, e dopo poco sono stato contattato direttamente da CEO (Parlando di D1 Milano, parliamo di una società da svariati milioni l'anno, non è affatto consuetudine che un CEO si "scomodi" per un paio di centinaia di €... chiariamolo), scusandosi per l'accaduto e mettendomi in contatto con il reparto addetto... dopo 3 giorni mi hanno inviato lo stesso orologio a casa. Zero chiacchiere, fatti. Sono un appassionato di orologi anche "luxury" e devo dire che D1 Milano si è comportato alla stregua del servizio clienti di Rolex, AP o Patek. Bravi!!!!

Someone bought a watch for me as a gift, from what turned out to be an unauthorised dealer, that eventually went bust. I had a problem with the bracelet mechanism that kept coming undone. I contacted D1 Milano directly for some help. They told me to go to Jeweller to have the bracelet fixed. However, in the UK. Jewellers that don’t sell this brand, won’t touch the watch. No matter what. They told me that there are dealers in the UK. Yes, just the one. About 300 miles away from me. So that wasn’t an option. So I ended up spending £70 for a new rubber strap with a different locking mechanism on the strap. I told them I would never buy a watch from them again, since they refused me a warranty. Even when the product was faulty. I showed them my proof of purchase and also the authenticity of the product. I would never buy anything from them again.

Bought for my husbands birthday. Within a couple of months, and hardly any wear, the strap failed. He put it away and wore another watch. We moved house and it got 'lost'. Recently it turned up and we found it couldn't be repaired locally. They will send a replacement screw, which is tiny, but at the cost of 35 euros. Unbelievable lack of interest in customer service. Lesson learned really. I wouldn't buy again from a company not interested in putting right the failure of their products. The strap broke really early on, and the watch would have been lost if we hadn't noticed. Not good quality, and not good after care. If you're in Europe, maybe it would be different? Couldn't recommend.

Issue: I just bought a this $150 polycarborn watch for my wife last month. Unfortunately, Its coating starts to peel off. She barely wears this watch and this happens so fast. What’s the guarantee? I have bought one for myself too & I’m afraid that it would manifest the same problem. So sad & kinda frustrating. Can you help pls? Thanks! Resolution: I emailed CS about the issue, with the details of the watch. I got their response accordingly. Watch is still under warranty, so a replacement was shipped to my wife in Bahrain! :) That was amazing! Though it took a while to resolve this but me and my wife are so glad that they pay attention on the case. Thank you D1 Milano! Soon to get the stainless one to add to my collections! ☺️
