There is always something good to find in the midst of any frustration. There has been a shortage of many medications recently. Since the shortage, I’ve had to speak with my local pharmacists so they could help me locate medications and/or come up with a plan. In doing so I came across Adam. He is one of the pharmacists at CVS on mineral spring avenue in North Providence. What a patient, caring, and simply a delight to be in the presence of. I was so comfortable speaking with him and he was so helpful to me. While spending some time speaking with him I was so surprised to see how many people go to the pharmacy and get angry and lash out at the pharmacist because their prescription is out of stock. The pharmacist doesn’t have control over what medications are in stock or when insurance covers a specific medication. I felt really bad As I was given a little insight into what a pharmacists day is like. Pharmacists have a lot of different responsibilities and they should not be yelled at and threatened for what is out of their control. Nobody would Like to be treated like that while At work but I must say Adam still is kind despite how anyone else Acts. Every time I speak to him he makes me smile and I’m reminded on how Important it is to be kind. I pray we remember to be kind and treat people the way we would like to be treated.
