Terrible Product and even worse customer service!!! I bought a DS-122 Defender accu-guard laser trigger guard mount for my Ruger lcp .380 and it started to malfunction just after a couple months. Contacted CT by phone because my email attempts hadn't been responded to,i was told that my unit was out warranty but that I could get a new unit at a discounted rate.The first rep I spoke with was super nice! When I hadn't heard back a couple months later,i called again and the SECOND customer service person was VERY RUDE and said that I should have never been given the discounted rate on a new unit,but since it was offer to me they would honor it-once the units came in. I would get an email to purchase.7 MONTHS LATER...all I keep being told via email is to check the website for availability,The units are still in "quality control". I had to contact them month after month because they never sent me any updates and for a company so huge in the laser/optics game-an innovator and a leader,I'm so disappointed in crimson Trace for being so sub par! I will Never buy another CT product! There are many other companies out there with better and less priced optic options like viridian and laser max who stand behind their products with 100% customer service satisfaction. Shame you crimson Trace... I'm supposed to trust my life and the lives of those I care about on your failed products?!?!

Have a CT 1250 and wanted to attach to a pistol. Wrote their "Customer service" 4 times asking about an attachment plate. I have waited over 3 weeks for a response,... NO ANSWER. I told them the last time that I would write a review, if they did not answer. Apparently their "customer service" is non-existent. Wonder how bad their warranty is?

I bought the LG 489 for my S&W M&P 9mm. Installation was a snap. Took it to the range to zero it in if needed. After about 10 rounds the laser started working intermittently. I called crimson trace today. They said the wait time was higher than normal. Gave me the option to return my call but they never did. They don’t have “chat” or “email” on their website to contact customer service. They offer a “free batteries for life” program but they require the serial# and it is supposed to be on the box and on the laser. Well , it’s not on the box and I haven’t taken the time to take the laser apart, because it is rather tedious because of the super small hardware. When calling after hours, their recording doesn’t give a customer service email, but just asks to leave a message and someone will return the call asap. Well, if they didn’t return my call today and they had plenty of time to do so, why would anybody think they’ll respond to my message?

This fall I picked up CT's CRM-301 light and laser combo for my home pew. The device installed easy and works exactly as expected. Wish I had picked this up years ago. The cable is a bit tough to plug in, but the fit is secure and I've got the loose cable stowed away with another company's cable management clip. I do wish the laser adjustment had clicks and finer adjustment, but as it is, it was crazy easy to align with my optic.
