Couples Resorts – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

We went on a holiday of a lifetime to Jamaica, in February 2024, and stayed at The Couples resort, Tower Isle. On the second day we went on a snorkelling tour st the hotel. The boat capsized and sank. The staff on the boat, although they tried to help, had very little training, no life jackets and the guests took over in what became a rescue mission in the middle of the sea. When we returned to shore the Manager took our details but there was no follow up or recognition for the trauma and distress this incident held. I feel completely let down and devastated that a holiday we had saved for so many years turned into a terrifying and traumatic event which no one at Couples Resort wants to know about, even now over 6 months later. We were told that the incident would be investigated, with the hope that different safety measures would be put in place, and some form of compensation offered. To date Couples are ignoring our correspondence. It makes you wonder what would have to happen for Couples Resort to actually listen and take your concerns seriously. I would strongly advise not considering this hotel as there is no after care should something distressing happen.
