Extremely happy

Extremely happy! The Coolfire Trainer eliminates the number one problem with regular dry fire; the lack of a firm grip since no recoil is expected!

Great product does exactly what it’s…

Great product does exactly what it’s supposed to do and customer service was excellent

Minor issues but overall very satisfied with the product.

Overall product works very well and I am very satisfied. While expensive, this will quickly pay for itself in ammo and range fee savings. Im aware it’s not replacement for an actual range, but it gets the job done in my opinion. Very friendly staff interaction when they called me to confirm my order. That being said there were some things that could be improved. 1. Instructions could be more clear and thorough. For example after firing for a while, I started getting a lot of misfires and eventually determined it was a worn out striker tip. Wish there was a care and common troubleshooting section for stuff like that. 2. For a gen3 glock 19, I had a slight tolerance issue when attaching the quick fill laser. None of the spacer ring combos specified in the manual worked. The attachment is only aligned without using the spacers and even then, the spring protrudes out in front of the muzzle just enough that it scrapes the quick fill attachment when I screw it into position. It leaves some minor scratches on the back of the attachment. 3. It would be nice if the gold package included some kind of weighted dummy mag. My gun felt a little top and front heavy. No big deal, just would be nice. Inserting an empty mag doesn't work. 4. Since I already had a sodamaker at home, it would have been nice to have the option to buy the package without the co2 tank for a discount.

LOTS OF ROUNDS + LOTS OF SUPPORT (( COMPETITION TRAINING WITH THE COOLFIRE SYSTEM ))

HIGH USAGE: As of November 19, 2024 I have around 78,000+ rounds (slide reciprocations) put through my CoolFire Trainer (CFT) and man!!!… My dry-fire training for USPSA / IPSC has EXPLODED!!! I started using the CFT in my CZ Shadow 2 seven months ago in hopes that I could FIND A WAY TO GET REAL TRIGGER PULLS (with a TRUE TRIGGER WALL) and A WAY TO SIMULATE MY TRUE SHOT CALLING… and I found it! In competition, the ability to see your dot or sight on a specific spot on the target for that brief fraction of a second is important. What’s more important is the ability to OBSERVE YOUR DOT PATH. As the dot bounces up it gives us so much information about our grip and how we finessed or man-handled the trigger pull. Seeing your dot fall back to that specific spot gives us the green light to proceed with the second shot and then blast out of position or transition to the next target. If our dot path is determined by OUR GRIP AND TRIGGER PULL… WE HAVE TO TRAIN WITH RECOIL. Yes, you’re right, the CFT DOES NOT RECOIL LIKE a 9mm or 38 Super Comp round, but it does recoil enough for us TO CINCH DOWN with our SUPPORT GRIP, force us to LOCK OUR WRISTS, and to FINESSE THE TRIGGER to make blazing fast shots with accuracy. The recoil punches more towards the rear like other airsoft or Co2 systems. ☝️but… it’s a Co2 system. Go into this knowing that. The obvious is NOT to expect it to recoil like a 9mm. That’s like expecting your Toyota to drive like a Formula 1 car. That’s silly. If you TRAIN FAST for law enforcement or competition, use it knowing that you are going to RETURN TO ZERO a lot faster like a 22lr. Meaning, use the system to visually confirm dot on target and use that as permission to send the next round ☝️but… AVOID TRAINING SCARS BY TRAINING WITH THE SAME SPLITS THAT YOU ARE FORCED TO USE AT ALL GIVEN DISTANCES. If you’re shooting in a head box or 3”x5” alpha zone at 25 yards… yup… use a confirmation three and only send it if the dot is clear and stable. Light it up with confidence, but don’t create training scars by sending rounds at brown shapes. It’s EASY TO DISRESPECT TARGETS using any Co2 system. IT REALLY IS. I found myself lighting up 15 to 25 yard USPSA/IPSC targets with .13 to.15 splits… “come on dude… that’s not real man… Start the stage again and use your REAL SPLITS”. The lighter recoil can definitely create bad habits. Train smart. MAINTENANCE: 99.9% of CoolFire users will probably use this for casual dry-fire training. My uneducated guess is an average of 1000-2000 rounds per month. Honestly, most people will buy this system, use it heavily for 2 weeks and then hang it up. That’s because most people don’t dry-fire, much less have a progression based dry-fire program designed around solution priorities and an end goal in mind. Most shooters actually want to plink. They love shooting for that Six Flaggs type of entertainment. If this is you, try hunkering down on YouTube to find drills to practice with your CoolFire Trainer everyday for 10 measly minutes and I’m telling you… you will go to the range as an entirely new shooter. LEARN TO SHOT CALL!!! Even if you don’t get a CFT, start dry-firing like your life depends on your shooting proficiency or like you actually enjoy hitting everything that you aim at. Hitting nowhere close to what you’re aiming at sucks hahaha! Get good at everything! SEALS BREAK: So depending on your volume or usage, seals will need to be replaced. That’s just the nature of heating up and freezing rubber constantly. Your seals are at room temperature and immediately frozen if you don’t hold the canister straight. Then the constant jamming the refill tip into the refill bottle tip damages the seals. Expect to replace seals and get used to it. It’s an operating system with parts that get abused. The O-Rings create a tight fit around parts that move back and forth super fast under the same demands… meaning warm and then cold. Then without lube and maintenance. You put it away for a while. Friction needs attention. Pretty simple math. Just like your truck. I shoot 13k to 18k of dry-fire each month, so I’ll let you imagine how much I have to replace parts and seals on my system. If you don’t fix things around your house or you’re not handy with your hands. You shouldn’t own a man card or a gun… just joking haha! ***Just go into this knowing that “you” will have to personally have to READ A MANUAL hahaha! “You” will have to PROBLEM SOLVE and it takes some time to learn the in’s and out’s of the system. It’s super simple after a few major meltdowns, haha! Again, all of this depends on how much you use your CFT. May the force be with you. CUSTOMER SUPPORT: In my case, the support that I have received HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE!!! MR. BOONE: Thank you sir. You have been my single-manned race car pit crew. Getting me back in the race every time that I pull into the pit.

Very cool system

Very cool system, easy to use, fun, but it costs a lot. For this reason I only gave it 4 stars, the electronic targets that come with the gold package are very fun and I really like using my every day carry weapon to practice in my house.
