Canon – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I had to call Canon's techinical advice number as I could not get my printer to work, after the installation of a new router. I could not have asked for better service from the engineer I spoke to (in Greece, but with perfect English). He was patient, resourceful, knowledgeable and solved my problem - even though it took over an hour. First class Canon - I really appreciate the help I had.

I'm from Singapore. A while back I had my printer have some problem. I wrote in to Canon SG's email. and they immediately offered some solution. They asked for my date of purchase or warranty, I told them I had lost it. They were very kind to still extend service to me and backdate the warranty to a reasonable time and start the warranty period from there. Then almost half a year later, someone actually called me again to check if my printer was working well and all. Excellent service.

Just had an "L" lens completely refurbished. Because the web site is so awful ended up speaking to REAL people. What a total pleasure. The completion time was two days less than forecast, payment method was easy. What a real pleasure to talk to competent people who left me feeling as if I mattered.

I feared the worst after reading some of the reviews but the main thing wrong with the store is UPS. Essentially, all orders are shipped from the Netherlands and handed over to UPS in Tamworth. As soon as your order is paid it will generate a UPS label which looks like you are getting it next day but it’s typically 4-5 working days and will arrive randomly in this timeframe. After the Canon dispatch email you can expect it in 2-3 working days. There will be delivery restrictions to prevent fraud, UPS are not that helpful in resolving but I understood why Canon didn’t want it diverted without authorisation! I contacted Canon and they were friendly and helpful, apart from delivery being a bit slow but it was free and in stock. Main issue is UPS expect you to wait in M-F, 9-6 and won’t deliver on a weekend, even if you pay.
