British Gas x Ford – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Engineer called a couple of hours after I reported the fault - he was pleasant and talked me through the problem (the boiler was in fact irreparable). He then arranged for a Rep to come the next day to organise the new boiler. The Rep (again very pleasant and helpful) talked through the options and did a survey of the house. We came to an agreement and the boiler was installed when they said - again the people installing the boiler were very pleasant and helpful.

We have been with British Gas for many years, and have always found them helpful and very competent when servicing our boiler and promptly coming out to mend our white goods. Their engineers are friendly and explain exactly what they are doing. They are competitive when it comes to gas prices. We are very happy to be customers with them.

I received my renewal notice which showed an increase of over 30% (usual, hope you don’t notice and carry on ploy!). So I challenged the price and a very helpful guy gave me a different option which I was happy with and it actually reduced my monthly payments.

Heating engineer Michael came out quickly and diagnosed the problem immediately, after a useless plumber from Axis attended on behalf of my mum's housing association who couldn't make sense of it! Unfortunately he couldn't do the job there and then as it needed 2-3 hours and parts he didn't have. He raised an emergency appointment and made sure the system was safe before leaving. Eventually the work was carried out by PH JONES quite satisfactorily but not for another 48 hours.

I had work carried out as part of my British Gas home cover and took advice on work outside the cover. Both occasions the staff are very experienced, listened to the problems and rectified them. For improvements they made sure they assert a solution is suitable for my property ( ex : checking the water pressure and flow before selecting type of installation) and made the recommendations and explained why one is suitable over the other. They gave me a clear view of how long the work would take and the extent of disruption that we will have to take for the improvements needed.
