bookaway – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I booked 2 shuttle transfer with them, very easy to book on line. The second trip was canceled by the provider and after emailing Bookaway, I received the amount I had payed the next day. Great experience. Recommend

Bookaway was easy to book our ferry through. I did made a mistake with my booking and although Ekajaya does not allow changes to your booking, bookaway managed to get it changed within a day without extra charge. Please do note they use the information from the ferry companies in regards to travel times and they are not always correct. See my review of Ekajaya below. Ekajaya SLOW ferry! Nothing fast about Ekajaya Fast ferry. After doing research and advice from our hotel on Gili T we decided to pay a premium for Ekajaya. Both on the way to Gili and back to Bali the ferry did not leave on time. After that we did not go directly to Gili but made a stop at Senggigi. The advertised 1,5/2 hours turned into 4 hours. On the way back we stopped at Gili Meno, Gili Air, Bengsal and Senggigi. A total of 5 hours! Apparently one of the ferry’s was out of service and because of the low season they made extra stops. I would not have paid a premium if I had known that the ride over would take 4 hours and back 4,5. For me, on a short trip to Indonesia, it’s not worth visiting Gili islands if it takes more then 2 hours to get there. Ekajaya is a total rip-off and does not tell the honest truth about travel times.

I made a booking for a bus from Cairo to St Catherine. I did this well in advance. But this meant that the confirmation was not as soon as I had expected. Bookaway kept assuring me that they were monitoring the booking. I received the actual ticket only a day or two before the journey. To my dismay the pickuppoint was not adhered to by the bus company. I did not lose financially and Bookaway granted me a credit for their commission. I was impressed that they understood my dilemma and compensated me. Bookaway are reliable and responded promptly.
