Arvixe support is excellent. We have cheltenhamrarebooks.co.uk hosted with them and they’ve been amazing in the quality of their support - knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.

For the price I pay, nothing is on par with Arvixe. Considering I'm on their cheapest service, hosting the full complement of 5 sites (which until recently included a magento multi store across a domain and subdomain), I think the uptime is pretty good, around 99% with occasional dropouts at odd times. All but one of the hosted domains is database driven with a decent sized framework or platform, including Concrete, Wordpress and Magento. Today I was very pleased that an adviser in support immediately installed an SSL certificate that I'd acquired, no charge and with impeccable customer service. If any gripes, I wish they would add nodejs again and give us control of php versions per domain, which I know is possible. I'm currently hosting around 41gb of data that includes the databases and files. If it wasn't for the superb service, pick a provider and hope for the best, they're all very similiar in that respect imho. It's not for the complete novice so I think an hour of cpanel, ftp and phpmyadmin tutorials will make anyone happy to get into it.

I have been with Arvixe for about 2 years. I never really had any major problems, but when I did have a few minor issue to be dealt with, the customer support department was quite slow to respond. A pleasant experience overall. Thanks, Arvixe!
