Air Transat – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I was worried when I saw all the bad reviews but credit where credit is due - the flight was half the price of BA and Air Canada, it ran on time, the plane was modern and clean and the legroom was ample. The food was good and the onboard service was fantastic - really friendly and nice people.

Affordable and reliable. I see alot of 1 star reviews on here and have to wonder why. I fly quite often from Glasgow to Toronto and I've never had a bad experience. The crew on the ground are always helpful and never dismissive (they could teach Air Canada about customer service) But the crew in the air have always been fantastic. There are two flights attendants who I see alot on my flights and you can tell they have seen it all yet they still smile and have a wee laugh with people. I see them de-escalate rude or rowdy passengers occasionally and am always amazed at their composure and care for other customers. I wish I knew the names of the two girls who I always see on this flight because I would recommend them for special recognition. I cannot fault them and always try to thank them at the end of my flights. I recently flew over to Canada to say goodbye to my father and paid $500 for a trans Atlantic flight, 7 hours and two meals....my connecting flight (air Canada) was $2000 for a 1hr 20min flight with nothing other than grumpy staff, two days delays and lies. A pack of us were asking why the flight was cancelled when the air Canada rep (who looked bored and annoyed) told us "air Canada no longer flies in rainy weather" when asked to repeat that a few people in the crowd managed to record her repeating that absurd statement. I've only been delayed once with air Transat and the staff were apologetic, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. 10/10 Keep up the good work and if any of the flight attendants read this I want to say THANK YOU.....it's always a treat to see people who are great at what they do.

Lamezia Terme - Toronto: The crew was kind and helpful with every request. The food served was very good. I traveled very well with Air Transat.

Due to Covid-19, I changed the date of my flight (pre flexibility policy, which kicked in 12hrs after I changed the date). I paid £150 to make the change. Called a day ago to request a form of refund. I was given a voucher in equal value!! Happy with the result! My aim to travel to Canada hasn't changed. Just delayed.

You can book up to October 2021 with air Transat now/time I wrote this review March 1 2021. Low fares with AT. This will definitely not be my last flight with Air Transat
