Unreliable Service and Removal of My Good Tire On October 21, 2024, I visited America`s Tire to replace my two front tires. My front right tire had a nail, and my front left tire had a patch. My rear tires were in excellent condition and factory-installed (my car has only 9,000 miles on it). I left my car and returned two hours later as instructed. A week later, I noticed a low tire pressure warning for my rear left tire. Upon inspection, I realized that this tire was the same patched tire that had previously been on the front left. Additionally, my original rear left tire, which was in excellent condition, had been replaced without my knowledge. When I brought this issue to the store, the manager denied any mistake. I requested that the rear tires be replaced with matching ones, considering my car is AWD and mismatched tires can cause mechanical issues. Unfortunately, I was told I would have to pay additional fees to resolve this. I trusted America`s Tire to provide professional service, but this experience has been frustrating. If my issue is not resolved, I will consider filing a complaint with the BBB, taking the matter to consumer protection agencies, and working with a lawyer to address this situation. I am pretty critical of places generally but ... America's Tire has consistently given us amazing customer service. Today I had to cancel an order, they had already received the tires. They cancelled it quickly with a smile. We have always used them because: free rotations, decent pricing, fast, no pressure sales. These things also make for a cheery, low stress work crew at the shops. I have nothing bad to say, and that is rare :). We always get our tires from America's Tire but I strayed and took a friends suggestion to do local Goodyear. They gave me bad alignment, the nitrogen scam, crazy expensive with all of the addons and my car was filthy inside and out when returned. The tires are decent. Regarding my winter tire cancellation, it was only because we have had a short, not lucrative, snow season. The season looks to be ending early, decided to get them in the fall instead.

I recently replaced all four tires on my Ford Escape. I initially went to Costco and they quoted me 1130 and told me to wait for 2 weeks. I went to America's Tire in Redwood City. They gave me the same tires for $1070 and installed them in 45 minutes!
