My husband ordered for Christmas the YSL Mon Paris gift set. He received a YSL pencil case. When he called they said well it’s out of stock and to just keep the little case. Wait what so where was the perfume set that wasn’t out of stock when he initially ordered it or the offer of replacing it with something similar?!
I’m absolutely astounded that they did not even send an email notification indicating the out of stock purchase but would just ship a pencil case that was worthless as the perfume set and assume that the purchaser would be ok with it!
In addition, he wasn’t offered another solution like a different set or get the perfume and travel spray separately. Loved this designer brand but now I’m just not as big as a fan due to their lack of consumer support.

The sale was actually 30% off 85 products not site wide so it was definitely false advertising at its finest . Done trying to shop from them tired of companies being able to get away with these kind of advertising tactics.

Ordered Black Opium perfume from YSL…
Ordered Black Opium perfume from YSL Beauty. Paid $8 for shipping and never received from UPS. I called them and had to file a claim with UPS and they will not refund my money or send another bottle until UPS decides to settle the claim. I ordered this for Christmas 2023 and they could not guarantee they would even have it in stock when the claim was settled to ship another bottle so I went and bought another bottle from Sephora so my daughter would have it for Christmas. I am still waiting for UPS to settle the claim so I can get a refund. Very bad customer service and unreliable. Will never order from them again.

Wrong order, poor customer service
Mary, David, Diana and Lorena from their customer service did not help. I placed an order with YSL Beauty and they shipped the order incorrectly. This was a gift for my fiancés mother and my mother on our wedding day which I expressed multiple times when addressing the error to them. Took a week for them to “reprocess” and continue to just say they are too busy to expedite or help me adjust the shipping address because they were too busy from their sale and because it is December.
I understand engravements take time but I work in that industry, when something needs to be expedited it can be done. This was extremely poor service from them and I am so disappointed with how I was treated from such a well known brand.

Amazing service, perfume came within 4days of ordering with 2 free samples. Beautifully packed in a lovely box. Really satisfied with this product and will be using this place again. Really shocked at all the bad reviews!

So these scam artists got my wife to believe its the OG YSL site (the likeness of the logo doesn't hurt), we only noticed because the shipping address was wrong and when attempting to contact them found out its a boiler room ops..--stay far, far away

This review would have been positive if I didn’t have issues this time, I ordered last year during late November and received my packages after nearly 2 weeks but I got frequent updates almost daily but when the website claims 3-5 days. But that’s not the issue the issue lies with me placing a new order for the myslf and now being 6 days and no updates other than the one for my order going through. I called dozens of times with the phone not even ringing but finally got a hold of someone for them to tell me they are within their time frame of 4-6 weeks and if I wanted my package sooner than I should have paid for the $20 express shipping or ordered from macys, extremely unprofessional and I will not order from them again.

I was convinced this was a scam after I placed the order. I got several emails telling me part of my order was incomplete when I only ordered one thing. The emails were addressed to , without a name. I then had a delivery date but was told I wasn't in when they tried to deliver (I was) so they would drop at nearest DPD drop. Next day it was delivered to the house after sending me numerous emails about despatch. Saving grace was the driver was really friendly.

No consideration for customers
If they inconvenience you with a canceled order because of a mistake on their end, all they can offer in response is a 15% off discount of a nonsale item. That is so terrible I'm baffled at the level of bad customer service for such a big brand. Lesson learned never again, better off shopping with Valentino or Chanel instead.

Their perfume is not authentic. FAKE PERFUME!!! Spent $160 on 2 different perfumes that smelled the exact same. Smelled like someone mixed together alcohol and spit! Horrible!

Horrible customer service
Terrible customer service and products quality control!!! They were on sale on the website. So I brought many lipsticks. But all of them are expired. They are made over 3years and the customer service keep telling me the products have minimum 3years and refused to return. After I was talking with them for over a month (they reply email so slow) they asked me mail the products. But I have no access for the products for a long time. And they just hold my money refuse to return my money. They don’t realize it is their fault sending the expired products and you have to sacrifice your time to get your own money back which is YSL’s fault. They don’t do anything to show their customers they are sorry for selling you expired products. Really disappointed and will never buy anything from this company again. If you still want YSL, at least don’t buy any on sale products. They are made at least 3 years ago. Who knows if it is still good on face!!

YSL terrible customer service …
I returned an order to YSL beginning of March and still waiting for my refund . I have called and emailed numerous times and just getting nowhere. I get , eventually emails saying they are dealing and should hear within 24/48 hours , guess what .. nothing !! I have just got off the phone again today with them saying it’s up to the warehouse to confirm the refund 🤷♀️Why the warehouse when I have an email confirming from YSL they have received the item back it’s beyond a joke . Then I was asked have I proof of sending it back , I did but after them confirming they had received it it was obviously thrown away as didn’t think I would need it again . I have screen shot the email confirming they have received it twice! I today asked for a complaints telephone number or email and was told they haven’t got one customer service deal. I find it hard to believe a company that size does not have a complaints procedure, it’s disgusting . Got nowhere again today apart from being told they will email warehouse ( warehouse ??) again and will keep an eye on my account . Its unbelievable.. I have advised I will go down the Facebook and twitter route about their company snd will seek to get a cash back with my bank for refund . Never ever again will I order online from YSL..

Still missing my package 2 weeks later
I'm honestly never ordering from this site again. My package says it was delivered on January 7th, but it's nowhere to be found. It's been 11 days and their customer service has been horrible. They keep saying they can't issue a refund or send a new perfume until I have proof that the other one didn't deliver. I filed a missing package claim with UPS, but they said that YSL had to file one as well. When I reached out to YSL customer service again to let them know what UPS said, all they said is that I have to wait and there's nothing they can do. The fact that picked 2 day shipping and my package is still missing with no answers almost 2 weeks later is astonishing. You'd think a luxury brand's customer service would be amazing, but I've been proven wrong. First and last time I order from their website. If you need something you're better off just buying it in store or somewhere else. I paid all this money for a perfume I never even received.
