I called Xerox technical help this morning for a C315 Colour printer that was bought less than a year ago: 11th July 2024. The Scanner has stopped working. I was told the machine was out of warranty. The person I spoke to told me that an engineer would have to visit and that he would email me a quotation. The quote was more than the price I paid when I bought the machine last year! Dont deal with Xerox!!

It jams constantly on good quality paper (its worse on cheap paper).
Re-instal the printer driver every other week.
Colour mangement is not great.
In short, by anything but a XEROX.
This company is an absolute nightmare. They trap you in a contract and then try to bill you for more, despite not providing the contractually obligated services. They offer no transparency at all. We pay our bill every month for years, despite sometimes having to order toner on Amazon because they failed to provide it, and then all the sudden we get a bill for over $1,700 claiming overuse. No one has been by to read the meter for years. The amount they claim we owe is far more than the amount of paper we have purchased since leasing the printer. When asking about the charges they revealed that they have been charging us every time we call them to tell them we're out of toner. However, monitoring and replacing toner was supposed to be part of the deal. We have refused to pay our bill and canceled our contract. I had to threaten to get a to a lawyer before they would allow me to cancel. All we are asking for is an honest accounting of our charges and they refuse to provide it. They are threatening to send us to collections, but until we have an honest accounting we are not going to pay. You are an absolute fool if you do business with this company. I've dealt with my share of lazy and dishonest vendors in my 15 years in small business, but I have to say these guys are among the top three. Wanna pay 5 grand for a $700 dollar printer? These are your guys.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
This is the worse company in the world, I employ you not to buy their products. I have had a printer which we spent over 1,000 Pounds for and it never worked properly. We requested technical support which they waited until the 1 year support ran out and then charged us 500 pounds for a call out. I have been waiting over 1 year for someone to come and fix the printer, but guest what? NO ONE CAME!!!! after completing 2 forms and waiting 15 months.

Absolute bad joke of a company to deal with. Printer was delayed then didn't the right attachment, wrong incomplete software etc. Even now when we're finaly got it going there's constant delays with Toners and when you call them they're absolutely pathetic at getting issue resolve. Only thing they're good at is over charging.

We had a lease for phones with xerox but via a third party telecom provider called 4comm. 4comm breached contract and so we had to cancel this, as they had breached, they were willing for us to go with no penalty. But then xerox were coming after us. The phones we leased were made only specific to 4comm, so are now obsolete. We sent them back and then they said they wanted £20k termination. The phones are worth only £230 brand new and we only had 4 of them, so this is not a real representation of their losses plus they have had the phones back.
They have now put a winding down order against our company. A company we have run for 10 years, a family company that is our sole income. That my parents started before me, that will be my kids when they get older. They want to liquidate us over £20k. We have now got a solicitor but I am pleading for anyone who can help or is in the situation to join the fight or share information. Xerox are bullies and we need to put a stop to it.

I've been trying to get service on a…
I've been trying to get service on a printer for two Months. After many hours across multiple days, I finally managed to get a cost for the repair but I have no way of booking it in. I've email the 'back office' multiple times with no reply. when you call the tech support team, all they can do is the same - they don't seem to get a response either. I will not be purchasing Xerox printers for my businesses going forward as the after care service is horrendous.

If I could give a zero
If I could give a zero, I would. I have an older machine which works great until Xerox pushes updates which takes my machine down and then you have to wait for new toners or a tech for days who takes even more days so you are down for two weeks or so. They want you to buy a new machine! NOT A HAPPY OR SATISFIED CUSTOMER

No Warranty in the UK AVOID
crap customer service avoid, purchased a new laser printer less than a year ago, original toner had faulty chip resulting in machine locking up, spent an age on phone to support, finally got engineer call back to advise there is a bad batch of toner cartridges where the chip stop workings. This is a genuine xerox part, he said it will be replaced under warranty. Low and behold XEROX today called me back after I chased them up and said they will not cover a faulty toner cartridge as cartridges are not covered by warranty even though the printer is less than 12 months old and still on its original toner.. REF: 64983422. UK support, 03709005501. Complete joke of a company. No way am I buying any more bad chip cartridges from ZEROX as they do not guarantee them, they do not work and XEROX do not care about service.

Worst after-sale experience
I work for an Small business in Montreal, and we don’t know what to do to get them to repair THEIR OWN DEFECTIVE PRINTER! Before signing the contract, they’re all smiles and friendly, but once the contract is signed, it’s a different story.
We’re not IT experts or printer repair technicians. Every time we call, after wasting a ton of time (sometimes up to half a day!), they do everything they can to avoid coming out. For us, it’s time and money down the drain, especially when the main printer isn’t working!
It’s nice to pay, but it’s useless if the equipment is faulty and the service is non-existent. In summary, I do not recommend Xerox Canada. The promises of good service stop as soon as you’re locked in. Avoid at all costs!

Lease Beware
I’ve had a Xerox lease for 5 years. Sure, everything is okay until you don’t want to renew your lease. It is literally like pulling teeth to not renew your lease! Finally, after MONTHS, trying to accomplish that, that is done. Anytime you call customer service, the call center is overseas. I’m sorry, but if we can’t communicate due to a language barrier, what kind of effective customer service is that?? Never again.

Horrible cashback claim experience
Horrible cashback claim experience. My cashback was approved for payment on 30th August, but I have yet to receive the payment. Instead, I was randomly emailed, asking for additional information and my phone number, even though it’s already filled out on my profile. When I enquired about the payment, they responded, "We are currently still unable to confirm a payment date, I’m afraid. However, I’m pleased to say that we’ve made good progress managing the higher-than-usual demand for cashback claims, so we’re hoping to return to the usual 30-day processing time in a couple of weeks."
Today, after three weeks: "We have been dealing with your claim, but are experiencing issues processing it. Could you please provide a contact telephone number, along with confirmation of the devices and serial numbers? One of our team will then contact you directly to resolve the issue."
All the information, including the invoice and serial numbers, has been uploaded to their system, yet they are still requesting additional details. I am considering returning the printers and opting for an HP alternative.

Avoid Xerox and their expensive and non-existant support
Spent an absolute fortune on Xerox printers and then today (sunday) just as I need it to print off orders it decides to die... error code 116-331 - I'm savvy enough to search/hard boot/clear files/update anything etc and there is NO answer to this issue without giving support many hundreds of pounds as soon as you are outside your warranty (but not at weekend, sorry!) if only by a week! This printer cost around £600 - I've had £50 printers work longer!
Their lack of support for their expensive products is nothing short of disgusting. Seriously, before you spend a fortune on a laser printer check the warranty, support options include weekends, and reviews and avoid xerox - might have a fancy name that lives off age-old reputation from way back when... but the company itself is actually quite shoddy now. Just avoid and go to a company that actually really wants to help when you need them, especially if your printer is vital to you.

From the beginning we’ve had problems…
From the beginning we’ve had problems with our printer. We asked multiple times if it had fax capability, we were told yes. When we received the printer it wouldn’t print, we figured that part out and it hasn’t been able to fax since we got it. We bought from them because we knew of Xerox and had some trust in the brand. We were deeply disappointed.

Worst customer service ever
My printer is under warranty until next month however Xerox won't put me through to technical support as they say their records show it's out of warranty. I've done as they requested and sent my invoice to prove the warranty date but been waiting a week without my printer now and they still won't help. Apparently the "Backroom staff" are helping other people and will get round to updating my records as soon as they can. Awful customer service Xerox! I like your printers but customer service is truly dreadful!
