One of the worst service providers I have ever seen. Professionalism level is zero, although I took 24 months contract but they took three extra instalments and didn’t give the refund. I don’t recommend this.

If you have a serious enemy, recommend this SIM company to them. I signed a 24-month phone contract with data. The contract ended in December 2024, but even now, in April 2025, they are still charging money from my bank account.
When I called to resolve the issue and get the refund, they gave me a different new contact to terminate the contract. I said, “Why? I don’t use your SIM card, and I don’t need any contract.” They told me that to terminate the old one, I would need to take out a new contract.
Since April 2nd, I’ve been trying to get a refund, but I still on (25th april) haven’t received a proper solution. Every time I call, they tell me to send an email. When I do send an email, they completely ignore my actual questions. It feels like a never-ending game.
This is one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Bordering on Scammers.
I took out a contract with them for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, they delivered Airpods Pro to me. I immediately call them to tell them about the mistake, and they act like I am lyin
g. I send them the pictures, the serial numbers, I fill in forms, I send the parcel back, over the next 4 days, they do nothing, they only tell me I should be patient. As it is within the 14 day period, I decide the trust has been broken down too much, I will cancel the agreement. Another week passes, where I relentlessly follow up, all they say is I should be patient. I now have to make a decision on whether I should call in legal counsel, and it seems they have no intention of closing out this issue. Literally my worst consumer experience I have ever had in my life.

worst most annoying company on the surface of earth, if you opt for monthly contract you can't simply cancel, NO freaking way. You need to cacel online , wait few days for an email, call customer service ( so they can convince you to stay in this hole) then on top, they will never cancel it. Repeat again until this done

I started a contract with them since 2022. Everything was going on fine for the first year until I noticed I was being charged more than usual. When I complained they were unable to state the reason for the charges.
I don't recommend them.

Very terrible serivce provider

Very terrible serivce provider. Not recommended. I bought a phone with them, after paying fully for the phone for 24 months, they continously deduct same amount from my account. Even after i was told by their representative that i do not need to cancel the contract and i will only automatically get charged for the internet connection after 24 months. I do not recommend this service provider.

zero value in customer

Have contract since over 6 several years, applied for a change that apparently wasn't possible in this way i imagined, but instead that they notice and inform me they made me 2 new contracts. It took 4 months to clarify the situation, because in the end i had 4 contracts instead of 2. Customer service (CS) online is horrible, you get only prepared automated answers.
When calling CS i was told it is my fault, they cannot do anything.
So I have written an email and complained that the contract is not fulfilled, and I would wish for an adequate solution, I was open for any solution just not to pay 4 contracts, if they would have made a good offer. Instead of contacting me and solving it, they simply canceled 2 new contracts within 1 day, got an automatically generated cancellation email and next day number wasn't working anymore, even though the new contracts were already in use (I could not quit it myself as it was set to duration 24 months so I started using it).
No apology for inconvenience nothing. Cheap contract but zero value in the customer.

Scammers

Scammers.

I tried to cancel my contract with them and they took advantage of the language barrier to change my tariff and charged me 150€ for it!

I asked for full cancellation and they convinced me to pay that amount as a penalty for terminating my contract early. I accepted and finally I am being charged every month for a supposed new tariff that I never signed up for.

Lousy customer service as they take days to reply and are unresponsive.

It had been a long time since I had encountered a company like this.

Avoid them.

Super bad customer service!!!

Super bad customer service! First of all, they screwed me over by "gifting" me as an existing customer 10GB, which I had to confirm via phone, but leaving out the information that this "gift" is binded to a 24-month contract which I could not get out afterwards.

Furtermore, then I lost my phone and had to stay with them due to this binding contract, yet stocked up to a tarif including a phone. Even though I explained the situation of me not having a phone they send me an SMS to confirm the new contract (which is quite hard without a phone). So the whole process of confirming this message was already an act.

Then I paid extra for overnight-service, but my phone still has not arrived. When I tried to contact the customer service through the chat option (after I waited in the hotline for 2h and was at some point while waiting just kicked out twice lol), they did not really help me out and were super unfriendly.

So overall, I am extremely unsatisfied and angry about this service.

Impossible to cancel

Impossible to cancel, late delivery, charged for unused service
Ordered a SIM card that arrived a month late. Language barrier made (an illegal) phone cancellation confirmation almost impossible. Charged for a service I never used. Multiple complaints ignored. Now dealing with debt collectors despite clear legal violations. Avoid at all costs if you value your time and money.

Dishonest Company

I initially wrote a review about how they kept on taking money from my account after I had completely paid for the smartphone I took from them.

I later got a response from WinSim and they told me that my smartphone and SIM contracts are inseparable. Therefore, as long as I do not cancel the contract for both, they will keep withdrawing money for both until eternity because that is how the contract is designed. As ridiculous as that sounds, they held on to it and claimed they would never refund me because I did not cancel the contract.

They could not answer what I have been paying for since the smartphone is completely paid for. and they could also not show me where this is stated in their contract. nobody will give such a ridiculous reason if they do not have ulterior motives.

It works but there are better alternatives

I have used winSIM for 5 years. It works but I was never totally happy with it.
Their app is very old school and hard to navigate, tariff options are confusing.
Connectivity is okay within the city but has issues while travelling with train etc.
I was sticking with it because it was cheap but realised there are much more modern providers out there with similar pricing.

On the positive side, in the past I had to order new SIM card because I lost mine and that process worked without any issues. I also had no issue cancelling my subscription but some friends had issues reaching out to customer service.

Now that I switched to a provider with very clean and easy to understand app and better network coverage, I would never go back to winSIM.

I did order today 31.05.2024 the winsim. Got information in email but ask me for download a App the App looked so fake and have no information the same as the logging center, I decided to check the reviews and only see bad ones. I can not trust in a winSim and Cancel. However, Tray true telephone however the phone number asks for information to be typed but before you can type it already says all people are busy and hangs on you automatically. tray 7 times.

Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable company with no nasty surprises

Service mostly works fine in cities and towns. Tariffs seem very good at first glance. However, this company has 101 sneaky ways to extract extra money from you, such that you would have been waaaay better off just getting a normal but slightly more expensive contract with a better company (I now pay a few extra euros per month with Aldi Talk -- who I stupidly replaced with WinSim two years ago when I signed up for a two year contract with WinSim -- but there are never any unpleasant surprises with them. WinSim worked out to be much more expensive after factoring in their often unexpected and unfair charges).

Just as an example:

1) I sent a photo as an MMS to my Hausmeister. Due to poor reception (even though I live in the town centre) it tried to send 9 times within a few seconds. Even though it only sent once in the end (obviously it stopped trying once it was successful) I was charged 9€ for just the one photo.

2) A friend visited from Australia. She had roaming as was paying international rates for my messages to her, and for her messages to me. However, WinSim also charged me. Totalled over 40€ for a few messages, including her messages to me. Crazy.

3) WinSim automatically topped up my data at inflated prices without me even asking for it, or being given the opportunity to accept or reject it (you have to actually deregister from this service that you never asked for if you don't want automatic top-ups).

4) Deregistering from services (including from receiving international calls that you have no control over) costs you money. YOU have to PAY to deregister from a service you never needed, wanted or asked for in the first place. Very sneaky.

Trust me, unless you have no friends and use their services sparingly (or only use internet), it is not worth the stress. While customer service will answer your complaints/messages requesting clarification re: what happened, they absolve themselves of all responsibility. Conveniently they don't keep records for more than a few months either (or so I was told when I tried to follow up on some of these issues after a busy period of work, during which time I didn't have the time or energy to immediately follow it up).
