for the past 14 years having my website on their platform and being a Premium paying customer, I experienced numerous issues. Whenever they had an "Upgrade" of their platform once in 3-4 years, my website became inaccessible for several months, sometimes almost a year. Each time in that process they deleted part of my website and rearranged the thing making my website afterwards unusable for months after while I try to fix all the mass they made during the "upgrade". So, I keep paying them Premium Plans several hundreds dollars per year even during the periods when they take my website down and when I have to fix their "upgrades" for months. It's a real struggle dealing with them. I wanted to move my website a million times from their platform, but they never let me take the backup of my website and all the data and members I accumulated for 14 years. I can't express enough my dissatisfaction with this platform and all the problems, lost time, lost money, lost members, lost data, and all the stress and struggle they put me through for the past 14 years. I just wish they let me migrate my website and data elsewhere and end this 14-year nightmare - which they kept refusing.

Contacted them twice to ask why Mobile version is not updating. No response. Their entire setup is outdated. You can spin in circles and randomly throw a rock and hit a better company. Currently getting approval to domain transfer everything we have with them. I am over all of our companies accounts and Webs has been my biggest headache since I started.

P.S. You can tell all of the positive reviews are not actual customers.

Too much down time, their servers are down way too much.
Lack of development, actually no development and no updates to their builder.
Beware of automatic billing, when your subscription is due to r
un out. Better off turning it off as they will charge you full whack, whilst half price offers are on if you do it manually. Then you have to chase them up to get a 50% refund which is a pain.

I loved using webs.com service and the…

I loved using webs.com service and the only problem that I have with them is the fact they are shutting down. They are moving to Vistaprint. However, I won't be moving to Vistaprint. I have found another website builder like webs.com.

Could be Better

Not 100% horrible but also FULL of technical problems. When I email for assistance they say that they are aware of the problem, but then months later they have done NOTHING to fix the problem!!! It is has been problem after problem after problem!

Webs.com used to be great

Webs.com used to be great. Now there are problems with billing, changing my existing website, and the email program. I am very disappointed and this is costing me dearly as I am trying to run my business using this site. They keep saying they are switching to Vistaprint, but I have been waiting over a year.

WEBS

WEBS - I am at a loss what to do. I have a domain hosted by webs but points to my wix website. I can't get hold of ANYONE from webs to send me my mx records so that my emails will work again, it is ruining my business. I have tried everything to get hold of them and they simply will not respond.

I am only sorry I had to give this company 1 star they are a total joke of a company I bought and registered 2 domain names a number of year's ago I recently got an Email reminding me one of my Domain name's was due for renewal when I logged in to try and do that I noticed that 1 of my domain name's was missing I Emailed them to ask firstly why they hadn't notified me that my original domain name was due for renewal and what they could do to help as I had spent year's of advertising my domain name and a lot of money only to be told they don't have control of my domain name any longer and it was now with go Daddy I should contact them I did try to do this only for GoDaddy to try and sell me my own domain name back for just under £1,000 I have tried to Email webs back to seek their support and assistance in trying to take control of my domain name back without being Robbed in the process and for some reason they have decided not to contact me back my advice to anyone looking to start a business up is not to use or go to webs I do believe they we're or are still part of vistaprint but be warned if you take time effort and money to build your domain name up they will sell it on without trying to make contact with you before web's say they can't discuss it on trust pilot here is my number +4407770075166 my business number was +447707730029 I will be more than happy to discuss how they have effectively sold my website/page from underneath me when I spent year's building it up I can only suggest that anyone using a website building company do it through a reputable company so you don't end up In the situation I have found myself in with the loss of my Domain name and being held to ransom for something I spent year's building up

What happened to Webs.com?

Webs used to technologically be one of the best website builders back in 2013, despite them still having a bunch of issues with a ton of features. Now, it's an absolute joke. If you visit their website and click on their blog, it directs you to a 404 error loading page. That just shows you how little they care, and that they're probably shutting down services soon. Getting in touch with support is just horrible. It's now impossible to create a website and usually returns me with a "Oops! There was a temporary glitch." How the mighty have fallen. I wouldn't use them if they were $5 per YEAR. There haven't really been any updates since my days of use in 2013-2016. I don't think they'll be around much longer, with Weebly and Wix taking this market by storm.

Failed to renew domain name

I have been with them since 2011 they failed to renew my domain registration even though i had paid for it this caused the google landing page to be accessed by a Chinese gambling company who blanket buy expired domain names to access google
Google banned me for terms and conditions violations, you cannot reason with Google you cannot talk and explain anything to them there an out of control monolith who should be reigned in by government agencies to make it a level playing field for the small operator
All Webs did was slyly refund the domain fee several months later, i lost my major advertising source and substantial income
I went down the legal avenue, the bottom line is if your in Australia use local web companies

Absolute joke

Absolute joke, build a website then try and publish it, it asks you to confirm your not a robot but as soon as you try to click on the box the whole thing turns into a tiny strip on the screen so you can't even see what the pictures are or the instructions telling you what pictures to click! And don't even try to contact customer support unless you have a premium account because you can't, really, do not use this service, there are much better services out there!

I am with Webs.com since 2010 and I…

I am with Webs.com since 2010 and I love it! I bought my premium service in 2011 and since then my website works fine. Didn't have any issues at all.

But at the moment I feel like Webs.com is outdated. And its boring for me. More features have been disabled or disappeared. Company's support isn't fast enough now. I am looking forward to exit webs.com and look for other options. It's no longer my cup of tea. I recommend you to use webs.com if you are starting to have a website. For long term use You better look for other platforms. Webs is now outdated. No new templates or good looking templates and no modern designs or any new features.

There is never help at hand

There is never help at hand everything that's free on other sites costs more with add ons renewal isn't clear. the response if you get any is clearly a random stamped out stock answer. Please don't waste your money

Terrible

Terrible, unhelpful, incompetent customer service agents. Poor communication. If there are any changes, they do not inform you. If you do not check your site before it expires, you will lose it - even if you have paid in advance. Dashboard takes ages to load (if it does load at all). Customer service says Firefox is not recommended, so I use Opera. Dashboard still does not load. Customer service then informs me that Opera is not recommended, so I use Google. Dashboard still does not load. Customer service then recommends Firefox. No help at all. Agents often evade questions. For the past few months I have not been able to make changes to my site. Webs has not been helpful at all.

On the whole a positive experience from…

On the whole a positive experience from start to finish. Its a fairly intuitive website builder that allows you to start a business from scratch really. I have had no complaints during my time with webs and although perhaps some of the 'building blocks' of setting up the site may seem a little cumbersome from time to time it does get the job done, and its fairly low priced as well.

Support has always been attentive also.

IT IS A SHAME TO GIVE EVEN ONE STAR. The company has held my ability to contact all my members for three months claiming its an IT issue and they have no idea when it will be fixed. They run you in circles to avoid giving you an answer as to how or when it will be fixed, and just reply over and over with "sorry we do not know when it will be fixed" and " no there is no one else you can speak to". They have all but destroyed my business. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN.

Domain name expired

My company is registered with Webs, and I received and email that my domain was going to expire. I logged in and made sure the auto-renew was activated. However, the domain still expired and I cant contact anyone at Webs for support. My company has completely shut down until this is fixed.

Really useless

Can't log into account, difficult to transfer or renew domains, doesn't work with Chrome... the list of issues is endless and customer service is difficult to get to. Considering this is a platform to make your own website, there is only one word - crap
