I tried to rent two different properties through the platform, in an honest, respectful and compliant manner. Both reservations were rejected without any solid justification. One claimed “mistake in dates” (even though the dates were correct), and the other used generic excuses. The hidden bias is clear: when they realize you are foreign, young or from a different background, they simply reject you — and the platform allows this without any kind of verification or moderation. This is not only frustrating. It is discriminatory. And worse: it completely undermines the trust of those who try to live fairly, respecting the rules. The platform should protect users against this type of behavior. If there are no consequences, prejudice becomes part of the system. My constructive suggestion: The platform needs to implement measures that require hosts to justify in a clear, transparent and verifiable way the reasons for rejection. Otherwise, they are normalizing social exclusion and fueling a toxic environment. Being honest, in this system, is not enough. But my voice will continue to be heard — even if it is to expose the truths that many pretend not to see.

Zero customer service
Still waiting for an answer to an email sent. No reply so still have doubts about appartment reserved and paid for. You are quick to take money but customer service is zero. Lets see what happens when we get there..hope all is as it should be...at this time we are thinkinh its a possible scam.

They stole my money. I booked a place It was fault the description meaning that it was uniplaces.com fault. I canceled my book and they don't give me the "service fee " back and it was around 300 euro . There was no service at all.. don't trust them if tou want your money...

Uniplaces Follow-up: Still No Resolution After a Month
After I posted my concerns here, Uniplaces responded the next day by leaving a comment asking me to send them my booking details. I promptly received an email and submitted the requested information. However, since then—now nearly a month later—I have not received any further communication, updates, or assistance from their team.
Upon reading similar reviews from other users, I realized this appears to be a common tactic used by Uniplaces: they quickly respond to negative reviews with generic requests for more information but fail to follow up with any meaningful action. Unfortunately, this pattern seems intended to make it appear as though they are resolving issues, while in reality, many legitimate concerns go unanswered.
I am sharing my experience to warn others. Please be cautious when using this platform, as you may risk losing your money as I did. Below are the details of my booking, which still remain unresolved:

No guarantee you'll have your deposit back
Yeah I've been lucky the 1st and 2nd time using Uniplaces (regarding the landlord return the deposit back). Didn't occur at the 3rd time, now I simply don't have in hands my deposit after leaving the apartment. 1935€ lost. Opt for other companies that at least give you this guarantee. Honestly I didn't expect that after paying 450€ as service tax, but that's the tough true.
Oh, I can mention that their "Customer Support" is very helpful (they reply promptly, etc), but I'd rather have my deposit back. They're trying to get in touch with the landlady but as a good scammer, ofc she's ghosting them.
Since I'll stay around Spain for more time I'll sue the landlady, but of course that wasn't the experience I was looking for.
Worth mention that this landlady (which is a profesional scammer, the landlady and her daugher which administrates all) was tagged as "TRUSTED HOST" at their platform. The joke is complete.
There are many other reliable platforms rather than Uniplaces. Unfortunate I was in a bad time and didn't think straight, and here I am sharing the loss I have. Don't be me.
