First time in ages I've trusted Interparcel with my shipment to USA. Last time I incurred a £30 surcharge because of an error in their dropdown sizing option which was never acknowledged, rectified or apparently understood. On a small Ebay sale this wiped out any small profit I made and incurred an actual cost. Lets see how it goes this time. For the record L64 x W55 xH12cm, weight up to 5kgs with Fedex £45.70. Lets see how it goes. Having used Interparcel for years, given 5* reviews and then to be treated like I was, felt extremely trepidacious today.

Customer service is great, based in UK and pick the phone up quickly. Good prices and choice of services. Just watch out for the surcharges - I send parcels of around 23Kg and have to wrap them in cardboard for the courier. I use the minimum amount of parcel tape I can for such a heavy parcel but every time I get surcharged for excess parcel tape and the 'parcel has to be manually transported through the depot'. No evidence is ever provided and it's pay up or don't use us again. Not sure how I could wrap using even less parcel tape, follow the courier rules but still get a surcharge. All seems a bit one sided.

Delivered when they said, really pleased, with so many choices of couriers these days sometimes it’s all a bit hit and miss. There communication was first class, the driver was both courteous and efficient and the drop was the first time on my delivery slot of two hours. Highly recommend.😀

I required a purchase made in the UK within a limited amount of time, which given international mailing delays, was a cause of concern. Interparcel delivered the package well in advance of the deadline and with constant tracking provided throughout. All went very, very, very well!

Sent a parcel via APC which was…

Sent a parcel via APC which was collected and delivered very quick, two weeks later I was being asked to pay another £45 because it had to be “manually handled”, I still feel frustrated because nothing was said when collected nor contacted prior to delivery and had all my contact details, make sure you carefully read all details before paying as it’s not highlighted well

Delayed, but eventually safely delivered

The parcel was booked for next day delivery, but was delayed by 24 hours without a reason being given. Once rescheduled, the delivery was on time and the (fragile) contents were undamaged. Communication good.

scam surcharge

almost a month after delivery I receive an invoice stating my measurements were incorrect and I need to pay more, threatening that I need to pay in 7 days or will be hit with an admin charge, they have provided no proof of these measurements, and have ignored my request for proof, I know my measurements were correct, I am in a few retailer forums and this seems to be a new thing with interparcel. (regardless which courier you use through them)
they advertise the services slightly cheaper than other courier services and then hit you with a surcharge - common issue it seems

if you want to surcharge us you need to provide evidence.

I will not be paying without evidence and will not be using their scam service again

Easy to book but couriers rude

The 2 chaps that turned up didn’t speak and just picked up the parcel (worth £1k) and literally threw it on the van pushing it in as it wouldn’t fit - I heard a squeak so shouted careful, one shouted if you have a problem take a photo of our number plate!! How rude!! Up to this point it was easy to book

The parcel arrived on time. The person delivering it carried it into a convenient position in my hallway for me as it was large and heavy.
It was very securely packed and padded to avoid any risk of damage.
