Contacted the DPD South Down office on Sat morning, but despite it being open from 9 am to 10.30 , I couldn’t get through . It alternated between a recorded message & an engaged tone for the duration until it closed at 10.30.

I had terrible experiences with parcelhero before - with them retrospectively charging me extra for parcels and lying about their dimensions. Interparcel, in contrast, have consistently been great.

Expensive parcel just left on the doorstep
Leaving an expensive parcel on the doorstep without ringing the bell or even knocking does not constitute delivered, particularly when due to the contents a signature was needed. An extremely poor service, likely promoted by the drivers payment incentive ie no delivery, no payment. This is happening more and more and is wholly unacceptable.
