Rearranged the delivery with ease when we were not at home . Email service was very good & responsive but however the phone service wasn’t . Contacted the DPD South Down office on Sat morning, but despite it being open from 9 am to 10.30 , I couldn’t get through . It alternated between a recorded message & an engaged tone for the duration until it closed at 10.30.
Arrived within time frame, earlier than expected. I was informed my parcel was on the way by text. Courier knocked on door. Very pleased with my experience.
Kept me well informed re collection. Arrived to collect on time stated. Delivery on date promised. Polite staff. Would recommend.
Website was simple to follow and easy to complete with measurements of my parcel and the destination.
Payment process was straight forward, plus there was facility to insure package as well.
Printing the address label was merely a matter of scanning the QR code (emailed to me in the confirmation of my order) at the local collection point, which was within walking distance.
I was provided a link which enabled me to track progress of my parcel as it was conveyed to its destination.
The parcel arrived when promised and in perfect condition.
So very simple and convenient.

I had terrible experiences with parcelhero before - with them retrospectively charging me extra for parcels and lying about their dimensions. Interparcel, in contrast, have consistently been great.

Leaving an expensive parcel on the doorstep without ringing the bell or even knocking does not constitute delivered, particularly when due to the contents a signature was needed. An extremely poor service, likely promoted by the drivers payment incentive ie no delivery, no payment. This is happening more and more and is wholly unacceptable.
