Uber Driver followed my instructions to a T and delivery was On Time but food was just a little cold. I suggest they use a Thermal Insulated Bag to keep food hot. Instacart uses Temp Controlled Storage for groceries, so that the ice cream doesn't melt. Also, for some unknown reason, I was actually ordering from Wendy's but somehow while looking at their menu, the App popped over to Shake Shack, which I've never eaten any food & the burger was awful with way to many hot peppers. I had already paid, so I didn't know how to stop the order and get back to Wendy's menu. I will be more careful next time using the App. Seeing each ingredient on each menu item was impossible.

Multiple orders came wrong in a row, from completely missing items to receiving someone else’s order. uber eats refused to refund, practically stole my money. I sent images, sent all the proof I could possibly send and all I received is an automated response and absolutely zero care in the world from them. Tried to contact them multiple times - no care. Will only be using deliveroo and just eat from now on and my family and friends included.

Uber Eats is top tier. They decimate all other food delivery apps by a landslide. Easy to use, friendliest service, and timely delivery. They even offer numerous specials and discounts. Winning across the board.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The order was delivered when it was ready which was great, without the delays we have experienced from other food delivery services. The driver was pleasant and helpful. The only reason that this is not a 5 star rating is that when we discovered that an old address had been picked up by the app, fixing that was obscure and time consuming.

Diabolical Company.

Stealing from the most vulnerable of society - Disabled or elderly that struggle to do shopping by themselves rely on delivery services for sustenance, Multiple times i've had missing items or whole orders from Uber eats with several cases of no or inadequate refunds - I should of learned my lesson sooner but like I say, some are reliant upon these services as to not burden family/friends.. If this is your case, I suggest using ANY OTHER service than this.

Pathetic customer support

Pathetic customer support. The only live chat option that you are able to dig after a day of searching is full of people with next to none knowledge about their own service. And the emails are full of fake promotions.

Poor Experience with Uber Eats App and Serivice

My recent order experience with Uber Eats was extremely poor, during an order place firstly the Retailer placed a Pending £50+ hold onto my payment card when I was paying for my order via credit and told me it could take 5 working days to clear, then the App removed the £7.00 discount code I was offered and I was charged the full amount for my order. This experience has made my consider using an alternative service.

Deserves less than one star because I…

Deserves less than one star because I ordered food from them. When the food got here I was 8 minutes late to fetch it. The driver either took a pic and left with the food or he honestly left the food out in the open, which was negligent as anyone could see him coming. They're refusing to refund me for an act done by their own employee. Poor poor service

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DISHONEST DRIVERS AND COMPANY.

I have scored this 1 star only because there isn't a no star option.

I decided to place an order with Uber Eats as I was looking after my disabled wife had just got out of hospital after an operation, I thought this was a good option, although more expensive.

The ordering process was decent (the only good point about this company).

Roll on to my delivery, I received notification that it had been delivered, which I thought was odd as I was sat near the door and hadn't heard a knock or the door bell.

I went out to investigate, just in case the driver had left it outside, however there was nothing there, so I contacted their so called customer services to inform them of the missing shopping.

Customer services - Do not make me laugh, pathetic, you only speak via the app as they are not brave enough to talk to you in person, I entered my problem from the selection available on the app, only to get an email stating how can we help ? Unbelievable, I had already told them what this issue was, They certainly aren't the sharpest tools in the box.

After numerous messages backwards and forwards, I was told the driver was waiting for 7 minutes outside my house as he couldn't find the number (massive number next to my door, so he must of been blind), so didn't qualify for a refund, so I was £85.99 out of pocket and no shopping.

I then had to appeal for my money back, after lengthy arguments with the operator I was awarded my money back as a goodwill gesture, cheeky b@#tards.

I would appear they hire theives and dishonest people, reading the reviews on here and with my experience.

It would appear the driver took my shopping, lied about where he was and that he had delivered my shopping, what was his proof he had delivered the shopping? A photo of my shopping in his car boot.

From talking with someone about Uber Eats, he has stated they always refuse refunds unless you are prepared to fight your corner, this proved correct as I informed them this is now a Police matter and have reported them to trading standards, then my refund was issued.

Avoid at all costs, The drivers are dishonest as are the company.
