Update:- After Titleist initially refusing help, the correspondence was picked up by someone else who has facilitated a repair and couldn't have been more helpful. I have therefore revised my rating from 1 to 4 stars. This is more like it Titleist.......

My T300 irons are less than 3 years old. The 7 and 6 irons have snapped at the hosel. I contacted Titleist customer services expecting some sort of help with the repair but was refused.

Ordered my Dad some non personalised golf balls in time for Christmas delivery according to the website. Its now 8th January and they still haven't arrived, despite them saying they would be shipping them out on 2nd Jan. There has been no apology for advertising yet missing the Christmas delivery deadline. I haven't received tracking info as they still haven't posted them. Shocking.

I have a Titleist Stadry cart bag nearly 2 years old,.Nice Bag Rubbish plastic zips. 2 have broken and a third is on the way out. It is ok to manufacture in China but the UK price of the bag you would think they could intall stronger zips.

Pity they only have a 1 year warrenty

Would never buy one of theirs again and would never recomend them

Umbrella breaks Do not buy Titleist Players Double Canopy - had 2 within 2 years both broke. Both Titleist umbrellas were used less than five times and in light rain and virtually no wind. Shaft broke on one and a spar broke on the second, not under any stress it just looks poor material or design or both.
Customer service replaced the first one, after it had been returned for inspection, but refuse to even look at the second one even though it was less than a year old!

Custom Fitting

Went for a custom fitting.Fitter said he did not have all components in stock but he gave me a spec anyway. After 1 week I told him I couldn't hit the clubs he prescribed.Told me to come back and he checked clubs were as prescribed. Told to get on with it...It was not so much a custom fit but a guess.
National Consumer Fitting manager not interested,so I am stuck with £1000 worth of clubs that are of no use. Steer clear, they only see you as a cash cow

Didn’t honour an advertised discount, then told me that I was in the wrong, then deleted web pages!!

I recently bought golf balls from Titleist, taking up their offer (or so I thought) under the ‘Loyalty Rewarded’ scheme, which is essentially 4 for 3 on orders of a dozen balls at at time, so 48 balls for the price of 36.
I ordered directly from Titleist themselves, using the promotion pages on their website. Strangely the discount didn’t apply when I confirmed the order, and payment was taken for all 4 dozen. I thought it strange, so I screenshotted the various pages that I’d ordered through - which gave clear information about the offer, how to order and more besides.

Once it became clear that no funds had been returned I contacted Titleist customer services, in what I expected would be a straightforward case of accepting a mistake and remedying the issue. Instead I received several pretty blunt replies to the effect that I was in the wrong, the offer had closed, tough ‘you know what’!

I asked for it to be escalated, and the position remained unchanged. I was told repeatedly that the offer had ended, despite the fact I’d provided them with screenshots of their own website that showed very clearly to the contrary. To make matters worse, during the back and forth they cynically removed the pages I had ordered through. I suspect someone within Titleist marketing realised they’d make a mistake and buried the evidence.

For a brand like Titleist to behave like this is pretty shocking. I’ve bought and used their products for decades. Leaves a very bitter taste and a very poor impression of the values that exist inside the business. Also makes me very likely to go elsewhere when I update my full bag of kit later this year.

Terrible quality of stitching on stand bag- a whole section has come away from its stitching.
Bought for a Xmas present and only 2.5 months out of the years warranty and just found out from the @Hotgolf customer service that Titleist won't do anything- the bag should have lasted alot longer than a year considering the amount of times it has been used
Will not buy Titleist again!

Unbelievable

Unbelievable, I’m done with Titleist,
STADRY STAND BAG JET BLACK - 2022 - JET BLACK
Paid around £250 for this bag, played a round in light rain, with bag in trolley, and under umbrella, played 14 holes due to light fading, kept bag in house for outside to dry, taking my car keys out the keys were damp, I thought maybe that’s just condensation somehow, I had to take my key fob apart and place to dry out for a few days, it dried out, now with rust inside, but thankfully still works, today I decided to put some items in my bag for a round this weekend, to find everything inside wet to touch, sharpie pens wet, Titleist pro v1 box soaked, so had to just keep balls, score card leather book wet, laser range finder with moisture now inside the lens, I recall my iPhone wallet being moist when I removed it, but thankfully again just the leather wallet got wet, the phone is waterproof, and fine, there’s water in every pocket that were all closed, also, what human designed this bag, looks great yes, but the bottle drinks holder actually holds any water that runs down the outside of the bag, there is no release for it to escape, no mesh that would allow it to release, very smart!!! This bag or probably cost Titleist £2 to make, it cost me circa £250, if my laser range finder doesn’t work properly, I’m going to open a small claims court case, where’s the quality control testing that the factories are using the correct waterproof materials?? I’ve used Titleist for years, been fitted for all clubs at their Cambridge fitting centre, also not impressed by the YouTube video, showing how off their balls are after a YouTuber tested a whole box of pro v1’s in Epsom salts, I still trusted using pro v1’s after that, now I’ll be using Srixon Z Star balls, I’m getting a full refund for this useless bag readers, don’t buy from Titleist people, unless you’re sure it’s good quality, which is likely to be in their older stock.

I’ve just spoken to Jo at Titleist, after returning the Titleist bag to Express Golf, which she the, know I had done, I’ve had a call to say, Titleist don’t supply to them, so I’ve had to take it up with them.
I thanked Jo, I told her I won’t be buying from Titleist again, I’m a man of my word, they’re clearly making junk now, not too impressed with the plastic they’ve put in my T200 irons, very cheap feeling, my black wedges I’ve just purchased are lovely, but they’ve got to go now SM9 60 and 56 degree in black, just about to buy a Scotty Cameron Special select square back putter, the bag I purchased said waterproof, I now have to buy a new laser range finder, thanks Titleist, another business where loyalty means nothing, all my golf clothes are footjoy, probably 10 polo shirts, I have their icon golf shoes, please avoid this company, I’d feel so much better if you saved your money for a better product, and a better buying experience, Mizuno, Ping are really the best, I’ll be buying from them, you might think whatever, but I’ve used Titleist for 15 years now, I’m done, once I experience after sales, and it’s awful, it’ll cost them so much more than me, I delete these reviews when I’ve been treated in a fair way, they sold me a product which was a shambles, the people at my golf club in North London will know all about it, they listen, our pro shop only sells the wedges, it’s where I purchased mine, I’ll be telling the pro to not use them, he got them in because I kept asking, it embarrassing now. I’ll start selling the Titleist stuff I own now. Irons T200 4-GW, wedge SM9 69 and 58, 58 hasn’t been used yet both black finish, D grind. Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport 2, I don’t use their Drivers thankfully, mine is a PING G425, that’s staying with me, be wise out there people.

Worst customer service Ever

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced my 5 iron snapped in the grip as requested had to send item back via my club pro after 3 months heard nothing so tried to contact them to find out why, was spoken to by a very rude person who wouldn’t even talk to me but told me to tell my club pro to email then after numerous emails phone calls I am still without my 5 iron this is now 9 months and still no answer. This is not good enough and I certainly won’t be purchasing anything from titliest again, having already spent thousands with them if this is how you treat customers can’t see you being in business very long certainly won’t be recommending you

Poor customer experience.

Just phoned Titleist customer service - AWFUL. I need a replacement rain hood for a Titleist bag and the agent suggested that there was 'nothing they could do' for a customer directly and that I need to speak to a Retailer. Not sure why they are unable to deal directly with retail customers and why a retailer would have any interest in helping to resolve my problem. Poor customer experience.

Shocking service from Titleist.

I ordered a set of Titleist irons at the start of September 2021 plus 2 additional wedges. I was given a lead time of 6 weeks.

I eventually received the iron set just before Christmas, but am still waiting on the wedges! Their customer service seems non existent and there is no engagement from them anywhere based on my experience.

One of the additional wedges is a Vokey Sm8 which has now been superseded by a new Vokey wedge in the time I have been waiting! Thereby reducing the value of my club before I even hit it!

The only reason I have given them two stars is because the irons are actually very good and I really like them. This however is the first and last time I will buy from Titleist.

An update 4/4/22.

Having been told that I will not get my SM8 wedge, but have to wait for the SM9! My pro was told I would get my 53 degree wedge in February and my SM9 in March, yet here we are in April and no sign of either!

Titleist are a dreadful company to deal with!

StaDry Cart Bag

Having just read other reviews it looks as if I’m following a trend here. Purchased a Stadry bag in early 2020 which in common with other reviewers has proved to be anything but waterproof, particularly the valuables pockets. I’ve stuck with it but the zip in the hood has now detached itself and enquiry with Customer Support about purchasing another hood has met with no response on the three occasions I have tried. I’ve had Titleist equipment for a number of years now but this experience of poor customer support will certainly test my loyalty with the brand.

Titleist Sta Dry Cart Bag

I bought a Titleist Sta Dry Cart Bag 18 months ago, when it arrived it seemed ideal and appeared to be made of quality materials. After a few months 2 of the rain hood press studs detached, these were replaced under warranty although I had to have a black hood the bag was a teal blue. The two side pockets one is a valuables pocket are not waterproof, they should be but even with the zips closed correctly they both leaked.

I wasn't bothered by this as I don't keep anything perishable in there but still not good on a waterproof bag.
Recently despite 6 months off for covid one of the zips on the large side apparel pockets has come away from the bag causing the slider to detach. I contacted Titleist to enquire about a repair service, they don't have one, however, they told me to get in touch with the shop where I bought it and to return the bag to them, Titleist would then look at the bag and if in good condition they would provide me with a partial credit towards a new bag.
Quite happy with this I contacted the shop where I bought it and they then contacted Titleist who refused to help outright.

So I've completely wasted my time and the shops time, I've since sent Titleist two emails asking them for a response and they have ignored both.
Very disappointed, the sad thing is that had Titleist helped even a little bit I would have bought another of their bags, as it is this whole saga has put me off Titleist and I've now bought a replacement bag from another manufacturer. I'll never buy anything Titleist again.

Stadry Cart Bag Poor Quality

I purchased a Stadry Cart Bag in Nov 2019, I was impressed with the bag at first it seemed of good build quality and had everything I needed. The 2 side pockets one of which is a valuable pocket both leak, the others though are watertight so I overlooked that issue. But after a few months 2 of the metal pop on studs which attach the rain cover to the top came off, I reported this to the place where I purchased it and they sent me a replacement rain hood albeit in plain black rather than the colour of the bag, I accepted that though and was happy to have a fully functioning bag again.
More recently despite 6 months off because of lock down one of the large side zippers detached from the zip completely, this is because the zip is starting to come away from the tape which it is attached to.
My bag is now out of warranty, I emailed Titliest who advised me to return the bag to where I bought it and that they would then look at it, they may then offer me a credit towards a new bag.
I'm a bit torn as that involves posting it as I bought it online and there's no guarantee that Titliest will offer me anything.
I'm very disappointed in the bag, from such a well respected manufacturer such as Titliest I expected better. A lot better if I'm honest.
Since I wrote this review I contacted the place where I bought the bag as requested to do so by Titliest, they requested photos of the issue and said they would contact Titliest.
I received a reply a few days later saying that Titliest had refused to budge on the 1 year warranty.
I've since emailed Titliest again and an waiting for a reply not impressed.

Non delivery of Product, 4 months waiting.

I was a loyal Titleist golfer, having had two complete fit outs from the National Titleist Fitting service in Carton House Ireland. Both occasions were of a fantastic experience and the fitter Mark O Mahony was super on both occasions.
This June I got fitted for the new 300 irons and wedges, which I'm happy with. I decided to complete my set and waited for the introduction of the new TSi range. This is where my frustration and disappointment starts. I was one of the first fittings and confirmed my order, it was completed in Carton house again by Mark (he mentioned that he was being made redundant but that the normal Titleist turnaround of 10 working days was assured.) I placed an order in good faith for Driver 3 Wood and FW Wood. I fully expected to receive my clubs within this period and certainly before any Brexit issue's or snags.
My only point of contact was Mark O Mahoney and even though he had left the Titleist he still tried to assure the delivery. At no stage did Titleist Ireland OR Titleist UK OR a titleist rep. make contact to give me an update as to where my clubs were. I have worked in Corporate Sales of a Premium Brand for the last 10 years or so and am fully aware of what the customer experience should be. Titleist have positioned themselves in the Premium High Cost bracket and the experience I have witnessed first hand is deplorable and below par to say the least. My annoyance and disappointment was further heightened when I was informed that Mr. O Mahoney requested on TWO separate occasions to re-order my clubs, this request was refused without any reason. Can I ask why this was the case.
In total I am waiting close on 4 months for clubs that have been paid for and were guaranteed delivery (as per your Official Website) within 10 working days.
For a company that holds an ethos of being customer centric and in touch with their fan base I question this to the core. In my experience THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT PLACED FIRST and the experience was allowed to fail.
I have left a message on the customer service portal my contact details are there and I await contact and a solution. Tony
