I love this company & what they stand for. However, the caveat of long waiting times needs to be taken into consideration. I thought that orders took around 2-3 weeks, but its more likely to be longer, so if you are ordering for an event, you must plan ahead several weeks. I always champion unique brands. My orders ftom the 18th April are still in thd process, and not expected until 7 June or later.
I've bought several items from this company and have been happy with them all. I particularly love my green shacket and my black and cream patterned jumpsuit (both have pockets obvs!).
I am a fan of the company ethos so don't mind the longer wait for what I know will be excellent quality.
Finally, when you contact this company, they respond promptly (thank you Cally).
This is Unfolded is a genuinely wonderful company to buy from. They have such an ethical mission and the clothes are well made and stunning. The fit is always excellent. I recently placed an order but chose the wrong length. I went on their customer chat line to ask if it could be changed and they were so accommodating! I wasn't sure if it would be possible but it was sorted in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend This is Unfolded for anyone who loves colour, style and slow fashion. Everything I have purchased has been worth waiting for.

Great customer service.. love the ethical nature of this company. Lovely materials and styles and well made clothes. Helped me out when I needed a dress for an occasion and they got it sorted and to me in double quick time.

I’m really excited about receiving my first order. As others have highlighted, the period from order to delivery can be a few weeks but there is full transparency about this on the website. And if that’s the price for buying ethically then I’m fully on board!
I’ve found the customer service to be faultless, with speedy responses and a clear passion for ensuring the best possible experience.
Since becoming aware of this company, I really admire what they’re achieving in tackling waste and championing social investment. I’m hoping that it continues to grow from strength to strength.

A fabulous small company, with great ideas and ethos. The products are high quality and will last for a long time. Fair to say the lead times for items can be comparatively long, but it's well worth it. The team are so engaging and keep updating on progress of the order. I can almost visualise it going through the process in the factory! I also love the idea of helping less well-off children to get an education.

I recieved my Fern Terracotta print dress last week,I am absolutely thrilled with it.Fits perfect and looks lovely,I am 5ft 9 and the length is just right,wore flats and a denim jacket was just so comfy.Thankyou I will be ordering more this is my second and a third on the way.

If you've been in touch with customer support someone will come back to you. As a small business this can take a couple of days. As we make to order it will often take more than a month to get your order and the shipment date is shared on your order before you order.

I'm also waiting on 2 dresses that I ordered in Feb. I got emails about the apparent fire, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Goods were promised to ship on the 7th May if not before. Goods, of course, have done nothing of the sort; though I did receive an email on the 7th telling me that they were being packed but still no firm shipping date or idea of timescales.
Funny thing is, my original dresses (that were apparently destroyed in a fire) were apparently waiting to ship; yet I never received an email to say that they were being packed ready to ship; so I'm actually wondering if this fire story is a load of cobblers excuse for under ordering from the factory, and they realised they'd oversold. They had to come up with a feasible excuse to garner sympathy and buy more time to make more, so they've made out these items were involved in a warehouse fire they could link a news story to.
I still have no idea how long it takes to get from India to the UK, they are incredibly vague on everything. I've no idea if the goods are sea-freight or air-freight. I work with international shipping and if these are coming by ship, there is no way they will arrive in time for when I need them in June. Come on guys, a 5 month lead time isn't just slow fashion, it's really bad management.

Firstly thanks for your patience as we had to remake your entire order following the fire that impacted our packing partner destroying a batch of your stock.
It sounds like you've not seen the updates sent this week, please do check your spam as they can sometimes end up here.
Your order finished production and entered packing on the 7th - it should now have completed this stage with the rest of it's batch. This will mean it will land in the UK this week. So there is no doubt they will arrive for when you mention.
Sadly the fire was very very very real and has been very hard for a small business to navigate and remake everything from. We've shared some links to the incident in our updates but just incase you've not seen these I've included a news article on this below as well.

I received an incorrect email regarding my dress on order. I emailed about it and received a reply the very next day explaining the error and apologising. I have had great communication, I knew my dress was going to be a while coming, but I can't fault the company's communications about the process, even with the glitches. Really looking forward to getting my dress. Bravo to a brave company who are trying to do something really special.

I bought the pink Julia midi dress. Cally was amazing at sorting it all out as it's a dress that's no longer going to be part of their production line. I managed to get a sample dress in my size abd I was so grateful! I tried it today. A beautiful dress! So comfortable and feminine! I'm so glad to see their clothes are ethically made and part of sustainable practices too!
