For this price I believe this is a lot of value for money.Upfront I noticed the steer was pretty low, sportive so I mounted an extender end adjustable stem. Fits perfect. Range of 70 km is even enough for a one day larger trip. The bike is light, and even allows to drive it w/o battery with a little more effort. So far so (very) good. Lets see what the next months will bring.

I took it in for repair and was told the part would arrive soon. That was TWO MONTHS AGO. Still nothing. The bike is barely usable, and no one seems to care. I’m just left waiting, stuck with a half-broken bike and zero urgency from them.
Now, let’s talk about their after-sales “service.” It’s honestly a joke. Every time I try to get a response, I’m met with days of silence, and when they finally respond, it’s completely useless. No updates. No real answers. Just a lot of empty promises and “we’re looking into it.
The 009 could have been a great bike—if this company had even a fraction of the customer service they’re supposed to provide. But instead, they offer nothing but frustration and wasted time.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this headache. This company clearly doesn’t care about its customers.

Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed several serious issues that suggest the product may have been used previously and was not properly inspected before shipment.
Below is a summary of the problems observed:
1.Missing Front Light & Broken Handle:
The front light is completely missing, and there is clear damage to the plastic handle where the light should have been attached.
2.Damaged Front Wheel Cover:
The plastic cover on the front wheel was broken. A piece of plastic was lodged inside, preventing proper insertion of the wheel axle. I was only able to remove it after multiple attempts.
3.Malfunctioning Front Wheel:
The front wheel does not rotate freely as it should. It constantly rubs against the disc brake, indicating a potential misalignment or assembly defect.
4.Missing Digital Display Panel:
Most concerning of all, the digital display panel is missing entirely.
This is a fundamental component of the bike, and its absence renders the product incomplete and unusable.
5.Suspicion of Prior Use:
The packaging was in poor condition upon arrival. The box had been taped multiple times in an unprofessional manner, raising serious concerns that the item may have been used or returned previously.

As soon as I bought the bike, less than 2 weeks later the buttons up and down were not working.
Went to repair the bike and once they replaced it, it lasted 5 days and it broke again so they replaced again the screen.
Bit crazy to have so many issues with only 1 month buying.
Moreover, when the bike was bought the bell was not working.
Luckily they did answer fast in tenways and sent a new bell and the info to fix the bike, but this is not convenient.

Awesome customer service
Had a couple issues related to my bike’s cable. Indeed, the customer service is the best I’ve ever had. They sent me two times the parts that I needed to replace, very quickly. Moreover, they provide a great assistance and they awnser very quickly.

Constant hardware failures, bike becomes worthless trash as soon as warranty runs out
I regret buying a Tenways product.
I invested in a CGO600 in 2022, thinking it would last me at least 5 years. Within the first two years, the motor failed, the controller failed, and the brakes failed. I did not abuse the bike, I ride it max 20km per week, in a flat urban environment. The hardware is just poor quality, for instance the controller failed because rain got inside the electronics. Now, while the bike was in warranty, this wasn't a huge problem. For each of these issues Tenways sent me replacement parts, and the bike would work again for a few months.
However, the bike is now out of warranty, and parts keep randomly failing for no reason. This time the display decided to stop working. Now that the warranty period is over, Tenways does not care anymore. Even if I did pay hundreds of euros to get this problem fixed, it's almost guaranteed that another expensive part is going to fail within the next 3 months. I'm practically forced to trash the Tenways and buy a decent bike now.
Do not buy a Tenways, your investment becomes a worthless pile of junk as soon as warranty runs out.

New CGO800S Tenways Battery Problems
Update:
Tenways shipped the battery and I recieved it two days later. I revised the rating to reflect that.
I bought CGO800S at Tenways official seller in Amsterdam, Otto Bikes in summer 2024. My battery won't charge anymore and the mechanic rulled out the charger, and concluded it is a faulty battery. They submitted a warranty replacement request to Tenways on January 22nd. They mentioned that they had issues with Tenways batteries and that Tenways is slow at honouring warranty requests and they were still waiting to battery replacements from December. I got in touch with Tenways support directly and they told me that the battery was shipped on 24th of January. A week went by so I followed up with Tenways support only to learn that there was "an issue in their system" and the batery was not shipped. They said it will be shipped on January 31st but when I asked when is the delivery date they went silent. I have a new 2,000EUR bike for daily commute that I can't ride and customer support that is leaving me doubting - is Tenways not honoring the waranty claims. Batteries are available, one can buy them online.

TENWAYS AGO X really value for money!
Last December I bought the AGO X with a price-off. I had the AGO X delivered to Portugal without any problem. Assembling the bike was quite easy, only not all the right tools were included. Luckily I had the right tools myself.
The AGO X cycles nice and smooth, really value for money!
So far no complains. I am verry happy and satisfied with the AGO X.

great service and reliable bike
When I was faced with a problem that didn’t have a easy solution, the service department was friendly enough to think with me for a solution so for the service alone they should deserve 5 stars. As for the bike: it is very reliable and easy to use. Due to the light weight of the bike, it is easy to move around when having to charge it or something. The price quality is 10/10 if you ask me.

Too expensive and no after sale service
I ordered a 2000 euros bike on 9/01 and it was supposed to be delivered in the Netherlands on tuesday 14/01. DHL keeps the delivery on "in transit" because "the parcel is too big and heavy to be delivered by private network" and the customer service of Tenways is just absent in Europe time-zone and the problem is not solved. I paid too much for a company that cannot handle shipments and customer service, I would never recommend it

I have received a AGO X bike with lack…
I have received a AGO X bike with lack of paint on the front fork and a defekt screw thred as Well om the front fork. I was told to take contact with a TENWAYS service center in Denmark. I did, and the repaired the screw thred but told me regarding the painting on the front fork that I could not expect better painting on such a cheap bike with such a cheap front fork. I have been offered a spray paint from TENWAYS support and a Mug cup. I am absolutly not satisfied with the lack of quality service.
I am satisfied with the rest of the bike and how i funktions. But to day I am biking on a “new” with bad quality painting, and poor help.

Awful bike and not helpful customer service
Purchased tenways800s in September, lovely bike, smooth drive.
Left my bike stored in parking garage and left for a trip on 9th of December, battery was fully charged. Came back home on 22nd of December and bike simply doesn’t work. Tried to charge battery, also left battery in charged for entire night nothing happened. Bike is simply dead. Keep in mind - if was used for 3 months for max 100km total.
I’m in contact with customer service Nina and Kelly - absolutely no problem solving. I was advised to reach out to local bike shop and make an appointment for check up. Guess what - no bike shops are open between Christmas period.
Customer service is absolutely useless. If you are planing to invest your money - invest into another brand that has better support or help. It’s 30th of December, I still don’t have working bike, cannot commute to work, also don’t have appointment or any prediction when or if I will have my bike back. If I had to buy it again - will not do that and not recommending to anyone else.

009 beautiful but faulty bike
The Tenways CGO009 is undeniably a beautiful bike with a smooth ride—when it works. Unfortunately, my experience with it has been disappointing. Within just a week of riding, the bike started making a lot of cracking noises that couldn’t be fixed, and the lights broke, requiring repairs. Out of the three weeks I’ve owned the bike, it has spent half that time in maintenance.
While the bike is aesthetically pleasing and rides well initially, it’s clear that it lacks sturdiness. Customer service has been responsive, but instead of offering a replacement for my faulty bike, I was given a phone holder. Now, I’m preparing to send it back for maintenance again.
If you’re considering this bike, I’d recommend spending a bit more for a Veloretti or a Cowboy. The CGO009 has potential but falls short in reliability. It’s a nice bike, but not one you can count on to last.

Even a tank breaks sometimes.
Had my Ago-X since April, loved it from day one. It handles well, drives great, handles the weather and on and offroad tracks like a champ.
I had an accident the end of June but that bike is solid as a rock, just one scratch (unlike me). It's a tank!!
Just over a month ago (end of November) however on my way to work it just stopped working, it wouldn't start anymore.
So I got into contact with customer support which was super friendly and helpful but the whole process of getting into contact was a little clunky. The website once logged in doesn't work wel on smartphones.
Also the process of getting the bike repaired was confusing and illogical.
It can only do the repairs at a service center(makes sense), which was 30km outside of a big city in the middle of nowhere. So getting the bike there was a whole logistical nightmare.
The people at the service center were super friendly and professional. The engine had to be replaced which took about 3,5 weeks. And they did a full check up and everything fell under the warranty so didn't cost me a thing. And now it drives better then ever.
However I think Tenways itself can maybe do a bit better making their support access a bit less clunky and making the whole repair process more streamlined/centralized.
And maybe one minor point of criticism about the Ago-X itself: it doesn't really like changing gears that much. The amount of times the chain dislodges itself when changing gears, is getting a little annoying.

Fantastic bike
Fantastic bike. I bought the AGO X, XL and it's a large bike. This season I have over 600 miles. I'm 6'3'' 250 pounds and got good miles from a charge. I bought the AGO for the great price and the fact I can ride the bike on the roads and the trails. Denver Metro has a lot of great bike paths. I was really able to expand my exploring with this bike. I'm more of a fair weather biker so the bike is parked in the garage until spring.

The bike looks nice and when looking closely the quality looks good: bolts, nuts, brakes, paint...
My only point is the small , 500wh, battery in combination with the enviolo hub.
I wil check if a spare battery can be supplied and the price.

Stay away! Really bad bike with no warranty for normal parts
I bought a bike last year from one of Tenways retailers, and have had so many issues with the CGO600 Pro. I have had replaced the lock, display twice, the battery, and now the brakes and backwheel crank is not working. I've followed all the maintenance instructions and now I have an issue where I have to pay +700€ to get the bike fixed for brakes and crank. 1 year after receiving! Almost 1/3 of the bike price.
Cannot recommend at all.

Great but not perfect
I have had the AGO T for three weeks and love the look of the bike, the ride is very smooth, as are the belt drive and the smart "non gears " system. A couple or gripes, the battery clicks in fine but sits slightly proud of the frame which may be a concern in the rain. The serial number didn't match the bike type so I needed customer service to enable this although the app still wouldn't connect to my newish android phone, it did work with iphone. The last issue was the whine from the Bafang motor, I asked customer service if this was normal but I was just referred to the reseller in my country so I still don't know if it is normal, today though I realised if I keep the pedals turning slower the noise goes away so I can probably live with it.
UPDATE
The bar code on the frame meant that the app insisted that I had an AGO X rather then the T, customer services sorted that. I am hoping that the battery will fit if I adjust the metal bar as I have seen in forums. Going back to the retailer is difficult as they are not local , a problem that is fairly common with these e bikes, I would face a fairly complicated train journey which if it gets worse I will do.
