I do not recommend anyone buy furniture from this company and additionally do not purchase the protection plan, it’s a waste of money. I bought a couch and the stitching on the arm came apart, the stuffing is falling out. I also bought the protection plan, that covers rips, stains and structural damage. However, I discovered today that none of this is covered. They didn’t even want to see a picture or anything, it’s just not covered. So, if you want cheaply made furniture that falls apart and does not last long, this is the store for you! If you are looking for good quality furniture that will last more than a year, take your business elsewhere! I learned the hard way, so I’m leaving this review to hopefully keep this from happening to others.

You choosing not to support Mike Lindell and MyPillow has earned you a negative review! I won't be supporting your brand since you don't support the brand of someone who's pro-America.
I purchased a murphy bed for company we would be having and all different sizes and ages of humans. I could not be happier with this purchase. The furniture is holding up great and all visitors have complimented on the comfort of the mattress.
I bought a fabric sectional from Slumberland. The couch has worn so poorly that after four years the fabric has thinned and is pilling. The resilience of the cushions and frame is failing. The Protection plan , which we bought for $230, does not cover any of these problems. Buying a $2000 couch every four years is not practical.

Lodged a complaint about the terrible so called duck feather pillows I had the misfortune to buy but these ignorant and arrogant b****** do not even have the courtesy to respond. Not content with palming off THE MOST uncomfortable pillows ever THEY just ignore any correspondence. Arrogant or what???? These are NOT pillows they rustle and feel like they are filled with straw not feathers and charge £26 a pair. I have had better sleep on 2 x £3 pillows from a well known supermarket. I am seething that firstly Lumberland can palm this crap off and even more angry the arrogant b******* do not have the common courtesy to respond

We purchased a sofa and chair
We purchased a sofa and chair. Knowing the time frame to be delivered we were ok with that. The couch arrived dec 20. With no legs. They said they would be back in a day or two which didn’t happen. Waited til after the holiday and call which the sales rep didn’t show empathy or care. Well now we have to wait up to 6 weeks to just get the sofa legs. I am caring and really don’t write reviews but when you’re a salesman that doesn’t follow through. It make me frustrated and will not recommend or will purchase again.

Online Customer Service disappointing
Employees at the actual slumberland in west Des Moines IA are very nice and helpful but their online customer service is disappointing. Ordered a bed on August 11th and was never notified of any delays or back orders even during the online order. Me and my husband recently got married and are specially looking for a fully 100% wooden frame which I found through slumberland at an affordable price on sale with the help of an employee at the physical location. I didn’t have a big enough car so decided to order online. Reached out to customer service after 1.5 weeks and they said early November is when it will be back in stock, we have to sleep on a full size mattress until then. Customer service didn’t provide any partial refunds or discounts due to the wait and pretty much said they can’t do anything. I understand during Covid there were delays with inventory but I work in a company myself within customer service, this is not how a customer should be treated.

Slumberland repairs suck
Slumberland repairs suck. First the furniture we got came broken and is garbage. And when after MONTHS they show up to repair it, they leave ALL the broken pieces in my living room and tell me it is MY job to get rid of the HUGE broken pieces. When I said it won’t fit in my trash bin I was told I would have to pay for trash removal. When I complained I was told this is slumberland policy which I verified. Yep. It’s their policy to make their customers pay for their trash disposal. Really nice. What a stupid joke. Worst service in the universe. Dont give them your money.

Been looking for a dresser for our Granddaughter. Just found junk. BUT Slumberland had what we wanted and no problems ordering it came put together and very well packed. Got it earlier than thought and just a great job!!

Liars and thief’s
Respond to owner down below!… PLEASE don’t waste your time and hard earn money in this place and people who are just there to making as much money for themselves even if it means lying to the customer in doing so. The sales floor, Matt, and manager, Amber, are absolutely horrible people. Taking advantage of customers. Went with my mom to purchase a sofa since we are in need of them. When there, Matt helped my mom with a sofa she was sitting on. We told him we are in need of two and he went to check it another is available. Came back telling us another one is, so we can get the floor model and order the other one for delivery. When already processing a financial plan and everything, Matt told us it won’t let him order the one online. We’re like oh, okay? But he than told that the other one would be available to ship in a week or two, as the floor model one can be delivered right away, upcoming Wednesday, with a chair we purchased. Called 1.5 weeks later to find out that the other sofa won’t be delivered till mid November! 3 months later than what was mentioned when purchasing our items. I told them to cancel, since that’s not what was told by the sales floor, and about returning the other sofa that was delivered. They said that can’t because it was the floor model and they don’t accept return for such. BUT if we were told the TRUTH by the sales floor guy, we WOULDNT HAVE PURCHASED IT!! But nope, they did not care. Spoke than with the manager, Amber if I’m correct, she said the exact same thing. That it’s what i signed in agreement. Which is FALSE, I signed because I was told it the other sofa will come in a week or two, NOT IN THREE MONTHS. They she brought up the stain, that I said it was in mint condition or whatever. WHICH IS, ACCORDING TO HOW THEY DELIVERED IT TO US, WITH THE STAIN ON THE BACK! And the manager lied, saying it was inspected before delivery. We clearly it WANT inspected when it arrive to the house! Like it couldn’t have dared got stained during the delivery process!!… this store, the sales person, the manager are completely terrible people, lying to sell the floor models knowing that they couldn’t care about you.. now starting a process with speaking the higher up people. Again, PLEASE don’t waste your time and hard earn money in this place and people who are just there to make as much money for themselves even if it means lying to the customer in doing so.
I’ve contacted so many people within the local store with no help at all. I even contacted the district manager and three weeks later And I still haven’t heard back when I was told they’ll call back within two days. What a joke. Such thief's and liars

Bait and switch shipping
Their website says they offer free no contact doorstep delivery if you're within their delivery area. I put in my zip code and it said I was indeed in their delivery area. When I went to check out, they instead wanted $100 to deliver it. I asked them about it and they say it's only free within their "local delivery area", which is I guess different than their "delivery area" Total bait and switch.

Very deceptive business practices at the Roseville, MN store. I purchased a "hot buy" mattress and was told to have the warranty I had to purchase their mattress protector. I figured I was going to buy one anyways so I purchased it. Once I got home I realized the mattress cover was plastic like and crinkled as you lay on it. I went back to the store the next day and the sales person acted like he had never seen me before. Said they do not take exchanges or give money back on mattress covers. I asked to speak to the manager who was feet in front of me and he turned and went into the back of the store and never came back out to speak to me. Buyer beware!!!! I will never purchase from a Slumberland again.
