The experience of publishing with Palgrave has been laughably bad. They failed to keep my records up to date in multiple way, including my email address (leading to multiple key messages being sent to the wrong email address), my address (leading to complimentary copies being sent to the wrong address), and (embarrassingly) the repeated wrong listing of my university affiliation.
Even more problematically, the publishers somehow managed to leave the whole concluding chapter (yes a whole chapter) out of the proofs (despite this chapter being listed in the contents page.
The proofing was consistently poor, resulting in significant errors in the text.
It has been a ridiculous and embarrassing process to be part of. Never publish with Palgrave.

Academic books are massively overprized.

Ordered an academic softcover book which arrived last week with inside pages damaged (crumpled up), apparently a production error. No quality control whatsoever.

Finally, publisher doesn't respond to request for a printed copy for book review in academic journal (have been waiting for a reply for 3 weeks now).

My book came within expected time periods, I was super happy with everything. I just wanted mention there was a small error in the cover design, some of the letters were cut off. I don't care but this may bother some people.

I made an error onmy purchase and contacted the customer support fr correction. After a couple of email exchanges, they stopped replying, without solving my issues. I currently have the feeling of having been scammed, since I had already paid.

The whole process (a simple on-line purchase) was frustrating and communications around resolving the issue were confusing. It's a pity as I've ordered from Palgrave before but haven't the energy to do so again in the end I just gave up

Browsing for books on the website is difficult as the searche function doesn't allow enough specificity. Beyond the browsing experience, the processing and shipment of orders is great.
