If I could give them ZERO STARS I WOULD! Total crooks! Charged me $250 for a key replacement and I’m the one that requested them to pick up the vehicle because I wasn’t feeling well! The owner NEVER told me when he was coming to get the vehicle therefore I could’ve left the key in the car. What’s the point of me keeping the key without the car 😒 then he charges me a $60 cleaning fee because I left my boots in the vehicle. The total charged to my card was $330. I have every intention on leaving them a bad review on every website AND I’ll be disputing these charges with my bank!

This is a good company
This is a good company. The only bad thing is when your clients take the toll road and they send you a bill. If the customer doesn’t pay the bill you have to pay it yourself.

Crooks
Crooks, someone was stealing money from me through my payments to them.

This company is a complete mess
This company is a complete mess. The support is terrible, unresponsive, and they even took money from my bank account without my authorization. I rented from December 13th to 15th, but they extended the rental without asking for my consent.

Hyrecar misses the mark when its needed…
Hyrecar misses the mark when its needed most. Its been nearly three weeks since I returned my rental. Since I'm in a state that requires a deposit I've been waiting on the refund of that deposit now for well over their 2-10 day waiting period.
Their help desk is a joke. I only get a reply if I have extended my rental. Magically I get the extension notification and a few minutes later a response to a ticket I e-mailed 2 days prior.
Going thru a divorce and Hyrecar is/WAS my last best option to get a car and continue Uber.

Hyre car can’t help with anything they can’t process no refund or nothing all they do is send emails saying your issue has been resolved but nothing gets resolved I rented a car on the app the vehicle had a multifunctional headlight I ended up getting pulled over and the police gave me a ticket after I showed it was a rental they advised I give the ticket to the owner well I did but guess what the owner never paid it my license ended up getting suspended and I had to pay the fines no one reimburse me nor cared to handle my situation basically they didn’t care I should’ve known better tried to rent another vehicle from different people on the app and the next people put me in a car I wasn’t supposed to be in it ended up breaking down I reached out to hyer so it could be noted and I requested for a refund because the owner wouldn’t even put me in another vehicle basically they got my money and the car had to get towed right back that was from peepoos once on hyer car and DTS rental on hyer car I would not recommend them to anybody and at this point being that hyer car only can assist with insurance they are no good to because again they can’t help with anything if I could give a minus zero I would

** DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY ** September 15, 2024 I contacted HyreCar customer support to report an issue with my login. I was unable to make a payment over a course of 6 days due to the company’s glitch in their system. I sent emails of screenshots as instructed by the representative showing the message error while trying to login. I was told on a recorded call that I would receive a full refund of all late fees that was charged for the days I was unable to login. I was also told by the representative that I had to make a payment of the late fees in order to receive the refund as the billing system was automated. After making payments of all late fees, I contacted support about my refund because I had received several emails stated someone tried contacting me and they didn’t get a response from me so the case had been closed. I assured NO ONE tried to contact me at all during this time. After two weeks, I requested to speak to a supervisor as of October 12, 2024 I haven’t received a call back regarding my refund. I then received another email stating I will not get a refund. This is unacceptable! I called again on Oct 12, 2024 and I haven’t yet spoken to a supervisor. This company promised my refund (on a recorded call) due to issues out of my control. Complete SCAM

Absolutely awful. I upload the required documents for proof of residence 3x and even spoke on the phone and emailed them. Then they asked me for documents again! This time a different set of ones..Just for residency purposes?? I even uploaded my ID and took a verification photo.
They are not well set up, they do not communicate well and apartently can't been verify you with the appropriate matching docs already sent.
-oh look, they managed to reply to my review! But not fix the issue I emailed about over and over and over again, without a response.

Hyrecar is impossible to reach and basically let's the owner run a muck. He started the time before he even called to say insurance was ready. I DoorDash he wanted me to pick up car at 6-7pm. My app said I had 1day and 23hrs w/o leaving my home. Then the key fob was dead so I waited till 9:30pm to get another fob. The owner said keep the car and extra day but failed to inform hc, he wanted me to extend according to the ripped off hours he illegally started. Everytime at extension according to app he would threaten me. He did turn the car off via GPS. So I left and took a train and bus home. Then he said I stole the car. I called all local cops to report him and told him repeatedly that once he turned it off in 104 degree heat, I left. I figured he didn't want me in the car right? He then said "it's on" in a threatening way. He tried to convince me to go back and get the car. Noway when he's been saying he would file stolen car charges. I documented everything and made sure local cops knew what he was saying. I'm still fighting for my refund. I do not recommend hyrecar at all. I'm still trying to correspond via email. None of those seem to work either. Very poor everything, the kicker was when hyrecar car said they've attempted many times to get a hold of me via email. . One email is all I got and the return email address did not work. No good, thumbs down.

If you decide to return the car and end the contract, which is a CHOICE, they will threaten to report you to POLICE as a STOLEN CAR. I was billed for a cleaning fee 30 days LATER on a rental that a punk ass little boy was the third party in facilitating the actual rental! HYRECAR is BS, the car was BS as well, and the third party little boy BS too..CUSTOMER SERVICE in America has gone to HELL! Daf

You won’t get reimbursed
Finally received my vehicle back after 7 late and almost $200 in tolls. Hyrecar doesn’t reimburse you ,there customer service don’t work, no phone access and you loose.
