I ordered two dresses at different times through ASOS. Requesting a return was easy through ASOS, but Goddiva did not process the returns and I am now left owning Klarna £155. Keep your proof of postage and Asos will investigate, but I lost one and am struggling to get the second return acknowledged.

Ordered items through debenhams , unfortunately they were unsuitable but the returns easily generated a QR code and when I had a question about the returns I got a lovely reply from Noel - they got my parcel back and confirmed it had arrived
I would recommend this company after having an awful experience with an online retailer so was apprehensive about ordering online
I was kept up to date with delivery and order arrived quickly

Easy online experience

WARNING - Do not expect to get reimbursed for returns!

EDIT: I updated my below 1 star review to 3 stars. The response from the company below does not reflect the issue, which remains as I wrote below. (They say the return labels are available in the portal -- mine never were, which is why I had to email them the first time.) After I emailed them asking about the declined returns, they checked the tracking and noted that I did return the items on time. However they were never received, which is why the return was ultimately declined. Upon that realization they sent my refund, but the fact remains that they never notified me it was declined to begin with. This is a very poor practice which takes advantage of customers who might not be paying attention.

This company is AWFUL when it comes to returns. I ordered three dresses to try on for a special occasion and requested to return two of them that I didn't like. I paid for the return label through their website, and then the website did not provide the label. I emailed them and they did not respond for over a week. I emailed again, and they sent me the labels. I returned the dresses, unworn and in perfect condition -- still with the ribbon attached that makes it very difficult to try them on but assures they were not worn. I shipped them off and assumed all was well. But then a couple of months later I realized I'd never been reimbursed! I looked up the returns and the website says they were DENIED. And they do not give a reason! I have emailed them again -- there is absolutely no phone number anywhere. I will be shocked if I get my money back at this point. But I will take it up with my credit card company if I have to.

Once the £1.99 return label payment is completed, the return label and QR code become available for download at any time directly from our returns portal.

Please note that returns are automatically marked as declined if they fall outside of the returns period, which is calculated based on the activation of the return tracking. As there was a delay in downloading and activating your return label, the tracking was not updated within the required timeframe.

Gorgeous dresses

I looked everywhere for a dress to wear to a wedding. I found two from Goddiva. They were both gorgeous. It was easy to order and fast delivery. One was bright red and while my husband loved the dress I felt too conspicuous. I settled with the purple one. The return was easy. It does take some days for the refund but that's understandable.

Customer service..what service

Customer service... what service. No one acknowledges your emails. I've purchased from Goddiva before and didn't experience any issues so I thought I would use them again. Well this experience has been disgusting and I believe the whole set up is run by robots. The time is running out for the dress to be delivered as i need it asap I'll have to purchase elsewhere. goodness knows if I'll receive a refund if I can't even get an acknowledgement from a human. Avoid this company if you don't want disappointment.

The dress is of poor quality and returns appear to be impossible

The dress is of poor quality. It is NOT lace as described. It looks very cheap. I have tried to return the dress but despite paying for the return label, no label was emailed to me. I contacted the company via their website to request the label, yet no return label has been provided.

Delayed returns

I ordered a dress directly from goddiva website but unfortunately it wasnt quite as expected. I paid for the return and sent it straight away. After hearing nothing, I emailed and had a response to say my return was received back on 7th March and would take 5-10 working days for my refund to be issued. We are now going into working day 15 and I still haven't had my refund. I paid via PayPal and have always received refunds directly into my PayPal account as soon as they are processed. I sent an email chasing my refund again 5 days ago and havent had a reply despite them giving 48-72 hour response timeframe. This company doesn't stick to it's own timeframe policies. Definitely wouldn't order from goddiva again and wish I read these reviews before ordering.

No refund - seems to be a common issue

I ordered several dresses from a few different brands, Quiz, ASOS and Goddiva through ASOS. All dresses were returned to the brands as per instruction on the same day, Quiz and ASOS have communicated and issued refunds. My parcel with 2 dresses was delivered to Goddiva returns on 3rd March, online states 5-10 working days for a refund however I have had no notification that my parcel has been received or processed. I emailed the customer service website which states an auto reply and to expect a reply 48-72 hours later. The refund and response time is so much longer than any other brand and after researching reviews on this website and Facebook I am concerned I won’t receive my £156 refund for both dresses. It is a shame as the dresses were beautiful and good quality but didn’t suit me. The returns process, lack of communication and other reviews are very poor and have put me off ordering again. I hope Goddiva can turn this experience around and issue my full refund asap.

Still Waiting on Refund

Similar to some other reviews, I have had a total nightmare with this company. I ordered the same dress in 2 different sizes to try on. The package arrived; one dress was the correct one but the other dress was the wrong one.

I contacted the company and had to wait days for a response. They eventually sent me a QR Code to return the size that didn’t fit as well as the incorrect dress. At the same time they sent me the correct dress in the bigger size. The package arrived fine, however, this size didn’t fit either so I have had to return. I paid £1.99 for the return and returned this weeks ago. Since then no refund…

I have emailed and each time a response takes about 3-5 days. They keep referring to the first refund which I have already received and are ignoring the second refund so I have been £78 down for weeks.

I have had to waste so much time trying to explain the situation and I am getting nowhere. Just about to raise a credit dispute with the bank if it doesn’t get resolved.

I would avoid buying from here as the returns process is a total headache!

For orders placed through an external marketplace, we do not receive your transaction details in order to maintain a secure transaction process and your privacy. Once a refund has been processed, you can request the transaction ARN number (refund receipt) directly from the marketplace where the order was placed. This code is trackable by your account/card provider.

Please note that the refund processing time may vary depending on your account or card provider and will take a few days to reflect back into your account

Avoid this company at all cost

Avoid this company at all cost, still no reply to my email of worry, have laid out just under £500 on x4 bridesmaids dresses eight days ago, was meant to be delivered 2-4 days, I am without the dresses and they have now gone back to sender never reaching me? Tracking just says at depot and has been sat there days, no one to reassure me with what the hell has happened, planning a wedding is stressful enough without lack of response from a company.
Without dresses and down almost £500, and no response nothing.
