I have been using Facetheory products for many years and I´m totally a fan. However I´m having problems with the face creams being in the tubes. The tubes are made from aluminium and when they are in use, they release a black aluminium stain around the cap and it contaminates the creme when you are pushing the cream out. The same happens with the cap of the serums (aluminium caps). This is really inconvenient. I wish they will bring back the glass jars but it seems they won´t. I read other customers feedback and they also prefer the jars. So much product is wasted inside the tubes and by pressing the tubes a little too much. The cleanser that used to last me for months now is finishing fast.

The products are very good quality. Subtle or no fragrance. Nice consistency and not greasy. Nice packaging although I prefer the old jars so I wash them out and decant the product into previous jars which is fine. Last a long time. Arrives quickly.
A week ago, I started using the Facetheory Retinal Eye Cream – the Retinal Supreme Eye MultiBalm.
Since my skin is already used to retinoids, I started using it right away. Although it's a night cream, I’ve also been using it in the mornings to give my routine an extra boost.
My main concerns around my eyes are dry skin and dark blue circles. I’m truly amazed by the results after just one week! Fine lines have reduced by about 70%, and the blue undertone under my eyes has visibly faded — I’d say by around 60%.
For the Retinal Supreme MultiCream 0.2%, I also have high hopes. I'm currently using The Ordinary’s 0.2% retinal and want to finish that before starting the Facetheory version — I’ll review that one later 😉
I really love Face Theory products and their customer service is 5 stars. I contacted them as a product wasn't quite right for me and they replied immediately and dealt with it super efficiently. Makes all the difference, thank you.

All skin care products need to be used properly
All of the product I purchased was very good, effete and easy to apply. And it all works with my own skin chemistry.

Disappointed with the New Changes
Disappointed with the New Changes
This used to be my absolute favorite skincare brand—I recommended it to everyone. Unfortunately, the recent changes have really let me down. The new packaging feels cheap and isn’t practical to use, which is a big step back from what it used to be. Even worse, it seems like some of the product formulas have changed. They no longer feel as effective or high-quality, and my skin just isn’t responding the way it used to. Really disappointed to see a once-great brand lose its edge.

New metal tubes???…
I looked at the new rebrand of this amazing company and was instantly put off by the horrible metal tubes they put it in, I stocked up on cleanser and moisturiser I recently bought the 0.2% retinal and it worked perfectly I just think I might go elsewhere for my cleansers and moisturisers…not happy facetheory

Face theory facewash
I have always used Face theory face wash ever since my skin flared up 7 years ago. This was the only thing that helped and I loved the 365day money back guarantee so I tried it. My recent purchase was to buy another face wash, much to my surprise they no longer did it!! However, they just changed the packaging as such. I was apprehensive. The product arrived and it was the same great product as I used before. The only criticism that I have, is because it’s in a tube, it’s free flow and sometimes more product comes out than I wanted. However I feel like I’ll get more from the tube in some ways.

They didn't publish my low review
They didn’t publish my low review on their site. I love Facetheory, BUT I no longer trust the reviews on their website. Several times, I’ve written a low but honest review for a product that gave me terrible reactions—and Facetheory neither publishes them nor acknowledges my feedback.
The worst was the Porebright Niacinamide 10% Refining Serum. My skin reacted horribly, even spreading down to my neck and chest. It was sore and painful for days—I couldn’t even leave my house. I stopped using it immediately, and thankfully, my skin eventually returned to normal. I wouldn’t recommend this product, especially to anyone with sensitive skin.
Their customer service is usually good, and I do use other Facetheory products, which I’ve given five-star reviews after months of repurchasing. That’s why I’ve given this two stars instead of one. But unsurprisingly, they publish my glowing reviews and ignore the honest, critical ones.
I’m really disappointed that they didn’t publish my honest review. I trusted their five-star ratings, but now I suspect they simply don’t publish negative feedback. That’s not transparent, and it’s very misleading.
P.S. I hate the new aluminium packaging. The aluminium seeps into the product every time I try to apply it—how dangerous for our skin! It also rips easily at the sides, making it hazardous to squeeze out the product. I’ve cut myself more than once, and it leads to wasted product and money. I really hope Facetheory listens to customer concerns and reconsiders this packaging choice.

I have found your products to be quality and reasonably priced
I have found your products to be quality and priced very well. Also I have found your products in some cases contain higher percentages of the products than I can get in the States.

I used to LOVE these products
I used to LOVE these products, especially the face cleansers, moisturisers and eye cream. I have been a customer for at least 2 years but I’ve started purchasing products from other companies now because of the awful new packaging. Such a shame! The metal tubes are a massive pain in all possible ways: wasting product, unstable, impractical to close when applying the product, and the tube openings degrade resulting in aluminium residue in the product (which somehow caused painful rashes on and around my eyes). I think you’ve lost many customers from this poor mistake of a downgrade. Bummer :(

New Packaging is a disappointment!
I was a loyal fan of this product - I bought facetheory way back when it started in London and also spread the word to friends who started purchasing it. The glass jars were superb and gave the products a crisp clean quality. This new packaging is horrible. The lid leaves black residue on the cream when you squeeze it ( metal) and then the tube is all bent and dented and ive had it break and leake. Also no more loyalty points? They all just disappeared. Ive made my last purchase and will be movinv on to another brand going forward.

Glow C 20% Serum Broke out in facial blisters and sores
I have used Facetheory's products for years now, the Supergel Moisturiser I have loved for a very long time however decided to try a new serum, their Glow 20% Vitamin C and Herulic Acid...the worst decision. I have had a severe reaction to it, broken out in hives and painful and itchy blisters all over my face. I did some research on Ferulic Acid and it is NOT recommended for sensitive skin, had I known that I would never have purchased this product. Their customer service has been the best I've seen and received a full refund for the product straight away. I just want to voice my experience and if anyone with sensitive skin wants to try this please be careful and patch test first.

Terrible and useless new packaging
I have used Facetheory products for many years including all my family members. We are not buying anymore since they changed to new packaging. The old glass jar much easier to install in the cabinet and the colourfull label also easy and helpful to recognise. But we have given up with the terrible new tube packaging.

Great products...IMPECCABLE Customer Care.
I absolutely love Facetheory's products and have really noticed a reduction in fine lines since I started using their Retinal Supreme Multicream. So yes, really great products, but what absolutely blows me away is their phenomenal customer service!! They always reply so quickly, go above and beyond to help, warm &friendly, never question if you want to exchange or return a product - they are literally the gold standard for customer care!
Shout out to Jade, Fione, Kate & Megan!
I'm also always so impressed with the discounts, bundle offers and free gifts I always get whenever I'm replenishing my Facetheory products.
Thanks Facetheory - yis rides!

Awful new packaging
What is with this packaging? All the moisturisers now come in annoying squeezy tubes instead of jars. Wastes the product caught inside, harder to recycle and even more annoying - they are a pain to store in the cabinet. After being a long-time customer, this has lead me to purchase elsewhere :-(
