Sent me products from 1 - 3 years old by batch code. Customer service replied it doesn’t matter when they were made, I should go by the symbol on the box.
Lip balm smells rancid, no customer service whatsoever. The fact that they’re shipping old stock probably means they’re not doing too well. Best to avoid them.

It's my second order and with the first everything was okay. I liked cosmetics so decided to try more. The main item was a sunscreen and to get a free delivery added some other stuff to try. Parcel arrived in 8 days which is very pleasant but...there was no sunscreen in it!!! So I wrote on Contact Us page and via emails - no response at all!!! Will I buy from them again? I dont think so :(

My name is Elizabeth Acosta. I have been using your cosmetics for many years. Actually when my daughter turned of age that's what she started wearing.
I wanted to share that with you and also I needed some other eye cream and I buy my elf cosmetics always at my CVS they just recently took the little section and they sell it and I was so excited cuz it's convenient for me.
I needed to get some under eye cream and I said let me give this a shot so I bought yours and I have to share with you it is absolutely wonderful it's the best thing I ever tried I love you lip glosses your lip stains everything I think I bought just about everything that you sell from bronzer and your brushes everything I could probably open up a store here.. I tell you a quick story my girlfriend always goes to Ulta to get brand name items she orders from Amazon top notch stuff medicube and you name it she buys it she always tries to introduce me to it and I thought no I'm fine with elf. I also love you holy hydration the hydrogel moisturizer excellent item and the makeup melting closing bomb top notch I do have to say your brushes I can go on and on but I wrote enough and I think you get the gist of it. I just wanted to thank you for always making things so convenience permanently disabled and I'm not I can't work and your items are very affordable so I love that. I know the customers are always ready to give you negative reviews. But I thought let me give you one positive. So once again I thank you

I love all Elf makeup , and I finally tried holy hydration face cream I love it,It is thick it will protect my skin because of the thickness I am older I am also a licensed cosmetologist it's a barrier it adds moisture for lines above the lips I am so happy with this product it works better than my $40 dollar product this is so good for my dry shik and the fact that PETA approves well that is another plus . Now I will only use Elf products the foundation that I bought for $10 is out of this world the mascara is the best I 💕 it all.

Bought the skincare starter set for my tween daughter. She is very pleased with it, keeps her skin looking healthy and beautiful. She was starting to become conscious of some hormonal blemishes but this and witch Hazel tea tree stick seems to have really helped. I would recommend. We bought the kit with several products for £20 (ish)

I like some of their makeup, but BUYER BEWARE of purchasing directly from E.L.F. as they do not have a return policy. I will never purchase directly again and purchase from Ulta as they allow returns. I spent over $100 and like a couple of items

After buying this make up for my neice I thought I would try some, more for my entertainment as it's so cheap.
I'm used to wearing Dior, Estee Lauder etc but Elf is just as lovely if not lovlier and a fraction of the price but with the same result.

USPS messed up once again and scanned the order as delivered, just not to my address. Notified USPS and E.L.F. customer service who immediately took care of it and was going to send me the product again at no cost or issue a refund. Days later USPS recovered my order and had it delivered to me. Contacted E.L.F. again to cancel the second order which was already on the way. Was told to donate it to a good cause. The fact that you can actually talk to a real person in this day and age deserves 10 stars.

Bought a lip balm 3weeks ago it cost me £10.50 that's with delivery and at first it went on lovely I don't use it every day but 2weeks later it is dry and no good . I wouldn't use these again . What a waste of money

Honestly I came here to sing their praises and I’m shocked at the other reviews I’ve seen! I am currently in the process of swapping out my cosmetic and skin care products for those from clean beauty brands. I always assumed e.l.f wasn’t “clean” due to their very reasonable prices so was delighted to find out they are! I ordered from them on the 13th and it was delivered on the 15th. As part of the order I’d tried one of their HD face powders and found it to be very glittery which I’m sure it cute for younger makeup uses but really wasn’t my thing and didn’t work well with my foundation. I got in touch with their customer service team about it to see if there was anything that could be done and they got back to me the same day to process me a refund for said item. It gives me 100% confidence to order from them again and to try more of their range because at least I know if something isn’t right I won’t lose out money wise. My favourite product at the moment is their glow reviver lip oil in Rose Envy - it’s such a moisturising product but has a really nice pigment to it so it’s prefect for a natural glossy look. I like that they have a reward point scheme though I admit I haven’t tried to actually spend the points yet. I will definitely continue to order from them.

I regret ordering from ELF. I placed an order on 20.11.2024.
I checked on the site after a few days, order didn't show up. I contacted them, no reply. On 29.11.2024 I finally received an email that my order had shipped. Minus a couple of itens, so they took off the free gift as well. I'm still waiting for delivery but these items were needed for a wedding and I had to shop in Sephora the day before. Terrible site, no customer support , unbelievably late shipping.... And I'm still waiting for goods and will return everything as I have no use for any of it when/if it finally arrives.. but already dreading returns process. Shockingly bad!

Although I gave them my shipping address, via Apple pay, their delivery service (Whistl Parcels) did not get it and my parcel was automatically sent back (order Number: MEU00374850). Now my daughter will be without birthday present in a few days. I have sent them an email but no reaction yet...

In the end the parcel came through. So now 3 instead of 1 stars.

Wish I'd read reviews before ordering. I've had the same issue as others about items not being delivered, am waiting for a response from customer service. what I did get was one out of six items in an open package that clearly was never even attempted to seal properly. it seems people sorting orders out need firing and from other reviews the customer service team too. I have tried the item I did get and it's really good so in future I shall be going into a store like superdrug to buy elf products and will never use the site again.

Horrible customer service. PayPal grabbed an old address and I contacted them immediately after. They responded with. Sorry once ordere are submitted they are sent to shipping department so we can't change anything. Seems like they should have access to cancel or edit. Makes no sense. So now I just lost my money since I can't get the products I ordered. Their support is very very bad. Don't recommend buying from them.

Review of e.l.f. Tinted Lip Gloss

I’ve been using e.l.f. products for over a year and have always appreciated their focus on quality, affordability, and hypoallergenic ingredients. I’ve generally had great experiences, which made me feel confident in trying their Tinted Lip Gloss. Unfortunately, this product caused a severe allergic reaction for me.

At first, I wasn’t sure the lip gloss was the issue, as I’ve never had problems with other e.l.f. products. But after using it, I experienced significant swelling and irritation, which required medical treatment from my GP. Managing the reaction was tough, as I had to stop using all skincare products to prevent the inflammation from worsening.

As someone with atopic eczema and highly sensitive skin, it was disappointing to learn that some ingredients in this product might trigger issues for people with similar conditions. I think it would be helpful if e.l.f. added clearer labels to indicate which products are safe for sensitive or eczema-prone skin. This would make it easier for customers to make informed choices.

I also sent an email to the CEO and e.l.f. customer service about my experience and concerns but never received any acknowledgment. I am highly disappointed by the lack of response—it made me feel that my feedback wasn’t valued.

I’ve also noticed others on social media, like TikTok, sharing similar experiences with certain e.l.f. products. While I’ve managed my reaction with medical support and don’t plan to take further action, I hope the brand takes feedback like this seriously and reviews their formulas and labeling.

I still like e.l.f. as a brand, and this experience won’t stop me from using their other products. However, I really hope they improve communication and take steps to ensure their products are safer for all skin types, especially for those of us with sensitive skin.
