This online sales of Hampers are a great company to work with. From the first telephone enquiry for their Devon Cream Tea Hamper, the sales assistant
Was most helpful, when the hamper was despatched the online tracking added to my daughters pleasure by
Allowing her track the hampers journey.
Ordered hamper as present for friends and arranged delivery, sat in throughout delivery time and didn't arrive, no message. Eventually next day told it would be delivered later and I sent message asking if it had been kept refrigerated overnight, no answer. Item delivered and driver left on step before running off, so no chance to ask him. Sent a message to hamper company expressing my concern about fresh food not being kept cold, but again, no answer. Very disappointed and not confident about giving it as a present, product looked good but delivery let it down badly.
After two delayed deliveries (no fault of Devon Hampers), the parcel arrived as a birthday gift for our diabetic friend. We'd ordered the reduced sugar hamper and it was delicious, so our friends said. The scones, warmed in the microwave, we're fabulous and the jam,amazing. And the wicker basket was a lovely touch. Thanks go to Devon Hampers for their understanding and resending of another hamper which was very much appreciated.

I ordered a cream tea for two to be delivered on Wednesday.it was sent on
Tuesday to the courier who delivered
Thursday afternoon the cream was hot and so were the scones after being driven around all day in a hot van not fit to eat I called this morning to advise of the delay and was told I would get a refund for the perishable items and not much help when I wanted a nice surprise
I was told the delay wasn't their fault but why advertise the day of delivery on
the website
I would definitely not ever use again I paid £26.00 to put in the bin I got a refund of £7.70 disappointed as nobody seems to careless

We are sorry that our couriers were unable to deliver on the day you requested. Although we make every effort to ensure your order is delivered in perfect condition and on time, occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to conditions beyond our control. We are acutely aware that nearly all of our hampers are gifts and many will be a special occasion.
I can see that we have refunded you the cost of the perishable items in the hamper, as agreed when you called. Once again I am sorry that the delivery was not as expected.
Have used this company before and find their website easy to use. Plenty of choice of items to send. Gift was much appreciated by my daughter (sent instead of an Easter Egg). Delivery went well and on time too. Many thanks

Hi Lorraine, thank you for supplying your order details, and thank you for your review. After your hamper left us I can see tthat there was a failed delivery on the first nominated day, and it was automatically upgraded and delivered before 11am the next day. We do all we can to deliver within 24 hours of dispatch, and our parcels are fully tracked, but sometimes things don’t go to plan.
We enclose a card in all our hampers which explains that the contents are best if consumed within 5 days of dispatch and yours was within that time frame. In practice, hampers going to Scotland often take 2 days and the contents remain delicious.
We can find no record of any correspondence from you prior to this review that would have allowed us to reassure you regarding the freshness of the contents or to rectify the situation you describe. I am sorry you were disappointed on this occasion.

Devon Hampers were amazing. The items purchased were a gift to my son and his family to celebrate their moving house. We always dispatch on time but if it is for a special occasion we urge customers to order for delivery the day before to allow for any hold-ups due to traffic, weather etc after our hampers leave us.
