Steer clear of this fraud

Steer clear of this fraud. I ordered a three month subscription for my elderly father. I made it absolutely clear that I only wanted the subscription for three months with no renewal. They charged my credit card after the period. I contacted them in writing to cancel my subscription and make sure that they understood. Now, six months later, they charge my credit card again… And they even locked me out of their website to prevent me from cancelling my subscription from a self-serve perspective. Now they tell me again that my subscription is canceled. I have gone to my credit card provider and cancelled my credit card number as to prevent them from charging it again. Fortunately, I am a baking executive, and I am very familiar how to prosecute this kind of retail fraud. I’ll be disputing the charges through the credit card provider as to recover my money do not engage with carnivore club, once they have your credit card number they will never stop charging you… It doesn’t matter how many emails you send asking them to stop delivering.

Service and quality severely dropped off.

I was 19 months and the first almost year and a half was very good and only one salami was bad. The last six or so months they just stopped sending shipping notifications so I had to email them every time to get my boxes shipped. The last 3 boxes were pretty much wll inedible. Disgustingly greasy salami that they tried to say was normal and also just some moldy/ awful tasting product.

the absolute worst customer service…

the absolute worst customer service EVER. I've only had one box shipped during the first week of the month (as their website says) and only one shipped via USPS expedited (also as their website says) they others were with FedEx ground and UPS ground shipping both of which too two full weeks in the hot hot heat of the summer (100F). And when the boxes finally DID arrive, some of the meats were hard and/or overly greasy because of the heat they traveled in for so long. I've had to email them over and over again, every single month just to get my boxes shipped. Still currently waiting for my next box hat should've been shipped last week, but they said "they are still working on it". I'm very disappointed that I paid SO much for this subscription with this company that doesn't give a crap. DO NOT USE CARNIVORE CLUB!

Terrible Customer Service

I had an extremely negative experience with this company. I placed a marketplace order on Nov 21st for a Christmas gift which should have shipped within a few days (as stated on their website). On Dec 8th, I started contacting their “customer service” email address, which I believe is just a bot or a terribly trained human, and continued to have very unhelpful and infuriating back and forth emails for the next couple weeks. The item didn’t ship until Dec 18th, almost a month after I ordered. A very long story short, the box did not arrive in time for Christmas as promised. I continued to receive terrible customer service and while trying to contact their chosen delivery company (CanPar) it was impossible to speak with anyone there either. I was forced to demand a refund. I decided to leave some honest reviews on Carnivore Club’s Facebook page so consumers could make an educated decision whether to get involved with this company, to which they deleted my comments and blocked me from further commenting in the future. So essentially, they are censoring feedback and giving a skewed perception of customer satisfaction. Thankfully, I did receive a refund after my continuous emails, but it was just handled so poorly. I highly caution anyone thinking of subscribing to think twice.

Terrible customer service

Similar to the review below, we placed an order as a gift on December 2. No word of shipment for weeks, even after email follow up. Finally get notification of shipment on December 22, which will obviously not make it in time for Christmas. Subscription is being cancelled, and I do not recommend you purchase. No responses or reasons were given. Absolute awful customer service. Save your money and go elsewhere

Ordered December 6th

Ordered December 6th, the item was not marked as being out of stock or low stock. No communication, so on dec 18th, I sent email. They replied saying "rest assured the order will arrive in time for Christmas". Got another email with an excuse claiming it didnt ship due to their "stocks". Offered a refund or to ship at a later date. They made no effort to contact me about the issue or do anything, they were reactive, not proactive. Now it's 2 days before Christmas, I have no order, and had to email a refund request. This was my first order and it rubbed me the wrong way, and gave me a very bad impression. Save your money, there are plenty of quality cured meats in stores. I wouldn't do business with this company based on how they handle issues. They seem to wait for the customer to initiate problem solving! Customer service member Alen also lied to me with his email response telling me to rest assured and that my item would arrive in time for Christmas. I have all email correspondence saved and would be more than happy to share that info with anyone having second thoughts about purchasing from Carnivore Club!

Botched handover of UK subscription

We bought a subscription to Carnivore Club in the UK as a gift. About 6 months later the recipients told us that the boxes had stopped arriving. On investigation, we found that Carnivore Club had sold the UK company, with no communication to customers at all. After a lot of chasing, the new UK owners agreed to restart the subscription . . . but still no more boxes have arrived. This is really embarrassing for us, but Carnivore Club have simply washed their hands of it.
