I rarely gamble, but I decided to have a little flutter on Eurovision through Betfair – and honestly, never again! I went through their website, made my deposit, and waited for my betslip – but nothing came through. They took my money without issuing any confirmation or slip.

Feeling stressed and anxious, I reached out to their customer support and provided proof of the transaction showing that the money had been taken from my account. The support agent said they'd speak to the trading team, but then... nothing. No follow-up, no resolution, no betslip. Just silence.

It’s so frustrating and honestly shocking that a platform like Betfair can take money from customers and not deliver the service they promised. I was genuinely excited to place my bet, and they completely ruined that experience for me.

If you’re thinking of using Betfair, be warned – they might take your money and leave you hanging with no support or resolution. I’m extremely disappointed and will be looking to escalate this issue to the relevant authorities – maybe they did me a favour lol, but I just feel robbed.

Betfair, this is not how you treat your customers. If they didn't advertise so much, I would genuinely think they are absolute scam artists.

I made a gamble in good faith because I was in the mood... and they JUST TOOK MY MONEY :(

I’ve tried numerous channels to engage with them, but they’re basically crooks hiding behind a chatbox. I wouldn’t even mind so much if it wasn’t just a simple £10 bet on England winning Eurovision at high odds (1:190). How random that they suddenly lost my details right then! If England wins, I’ll be even more pissed off lol.

Honestly, unless you’re a professional gambler who knows how to navigate this mess, don’t bet online with them.

Won a bet on the Inter Milan v Barcelona match on Tuesday night. Was paid the winnings immediately. Withdrew the winnings on Wednesday night. Logged back in on Friday and my account was in the negative figures. Betfair had decided that the winning bet was actually a losing bet multiple days after the match had finished. Enquired about this on their chat service and was left waiting for close to two hours by two different agents who struggled to construct a comprehensible sentence between them. The worst betting company I have used by a distance.

I was having difficulty logging into my Betfair account. The problem was I had forgot my pass word. Spoke to the Betfair advisor who was tremendous. He took his time in explaining what I needed to do. After a short time I was into my Betfair account. Again, I would like to thank the person who helped me as I am 67 and not that computer literate.

Betfair are good. Good rewards system. They just need to break away from Crappy Playtech. Create there own Poker Software and scrap ipoker although ipoker would be great if they set it to Honest Mode wouldn't it, lol. Good luck guys.

Worst company I've ever seen!! I've been using Ladbrokes for a very long time, never had an issue with them! While scrolling on instagram I saw a promotion for Betfair and decided to try it...worst experience of my life!! They false advertise promotions (as many reviews have the same issue) and their customer service is a joke!! They are very rude and do not try to help you at all!! They refused to give me the sign up bonus because I did a bank transfer instead of using a debit card, when the promotion says (Deposit and bet a minimum of £10 and grab £50 free bets)...that's a piss take when you deposit a lot of money!!! Its not about the free bets...it's about the attitude and the customer care...
I work in a casino...customer service is the most important thing because its a very tough market!! If a customer had the issues that I had I would give him the £50 he is ENTITLED to because at the end of the day is his right to have the sign up bonus, the house always wins and you make the customer happy...that means less hassle, you get your money back in the long run and more profit!!
I've given WAY more than £50 to customers...and guess what??? They comeback every day because they like our customer service and they know we take care of them!!!
While speaking with the customer service I mentioned I wanted to close my account and go back to the competitor...they didn't care at all...If I lost a customer or a potencial customer due to this attitudes I would loose my job...
I lost over £4000 betting on Ladbtokes but I don't care because it was my choice to bet, Im a grown man and I know what Im signing up for and their customer service is impeccable...
Betfair just lost a customer and a lot of money from me because of their poor customer service!!!
Guys there's so many better options out there...Ladbtokes, Bet365, Betfred...anything is better than this shady company...
Nothing would make me more happy than the UKGC removing your license!!!
