Stayed at this gite for a long weekend getaway, and everything was perfect! The rooms were clean, the host was welcoming, and the facilities were more than adequate. We stayed there with a group of 12 people and the location was great for mountain biking and walking.
I cancelled my holiday within the free cancellation period. They agreed to return my deposit. Within 3-4 weeks!!!After 4 weeks they said it would be another 2-3 weeks. I then received an e mail saying they had issued a refund which would then take 25 days to come to my account and may be paid in instalments. I’m waiting. Completely unacceptable from this company.
Update. I have now received my refund. After waiting 6 weeks, 5 chat messages. 2 direct phone calls. 2 phone calls to VRBO (the booking agent) and 1 bad review which prompted the payment. It should have been quicker, easier and in line with your own terms and conditions. Please stop doing this. I have booked with you many times before. Your properties are excellent and all other aspects have been really good. This experience has ruined your reputation with me and I will not book with you again.
Fabulous Villa in Beaufort France.
It was not spotless which was disappointing however very good.
Main problem is we are now in week 3 since departure. Still no deposit returned despite Terms and conditions stating 10-14 days. By email told to wait another 2-3 weeks.
Really awful customer service. Refund apparently issued on 08/09/24 it does not take 2-3 weeks to credit my account.
Disgraceful
Nuts Castle has plenty of room for us - four couples with 4 children - great bathrooms and it made us feel at home. The castle is a place you will remember. We loved the surrounding fields and woods. The owner gave one of us more time to stay, while waiting for his car getting fixed. That was a welcome relieve.

The owner is a really nice, friendly men. He is the perfect host for your holiday. He knows the area really well! All the activitities are around one hour drive from the house.

It is a nice big house, enough room for 12 people, including small children. Every floor has a bathroom. There is good kitchen with lot of aquipement. A nice surrounding, a few chickens, goats and cows. A nice place to sit in the garden.

The apartment was very well located within the city walls. It's nice and clean, and comfortable enough for two days. Although it has two windows, it's not very bright because it's located in an alley. We arrived early, and they were kind enough to let us in a bit earlier. As in almost all places in the old town of Dubrovnik, you have to go up and down stairs to access the apartment, which is also on the first floor. There is no way to avoid having to carry your suitcases up and down if you want to stay in the old town.
