Ive spent thousands of dollars at this store only to be treated like an idiot when my 138ah deep cycle battery shit itself little over 12 months later. I contacted Anaconda Maroochydore because it came with a 24 month warranty. The run around these guys gave me was nothing short or ridiculous. The only thing they havent asked me so far is a DNA sample.
Name, address, club membershio number, receipt, store of purchase, person who served me, date of purchase, phone number, email address, ..... They are trained to frustrate you into giving up. My advice is steer clear of them, especially the Kings product line. When they fail, and they will, you'll get the royal run around trying to get them to honour their warranties.

should be zero stars. Purchased a sleeping bag online. Had positive reviews on their own website, rated to 2 degrees. However using it, could not stand up to even 10 degrees. I am following up with Consumer Affairs. I posted a negative review on their product website, however this was removed. IE I regret trusting their website reviews.
Also purchased a microfibre towel in the same order, terrible quality and requested to return. Customer service was lousy for the return process and took numerous emails with slow responses.
I went in with my grandson to buy a jumper. I had some person { staff member} who clearly has unresolved issues try to interrogate me as to what safeguards I had regarding my grandsons safety in cold weather. This thing just walked up and started questioning me. It was told on no uncertain terms to mind it's mouth, back off and behave like a normal human. To be clear my grandson is a very happy and and clearly healthy little boy.
Ridiculous customer service, they abandon my refilled gas bottle outside unsupervised, didn't warn me it was ready, someone stole my bottle and they supposed it's my fault. Didn't refound me in anyway, made me lost 30 min without say anything before to contact the "strong power" that confirmed it was my fault. Zero sign of regret, just store member trying to avoid me and fly away. RIDICULOUS!!!

Store Policy Wrong…
I purchased a 75 litre fridge freezer and asked if someone could take to my car and help me get it into car. Was told store policy is he could push trolley to my car but could not put into car in case he damaged car. I have worked retail all my life. He was going to let a 62 year old woman do it herself. He of course offered to push the trolley again and I told him not to bother as I could do THAT myself and said perhaps there will be a nice customer out there who will help me. Where is the customer service no matter what the big bosses in the big office tell them they can’t do . Not happy at all.

Bad customer service
Bad customer service. I am trying to get a return label to return a product which is way smaller than what the size chart on their website says. They claim you have 28 days change of mind, but looks like only if you can return it to their shop. No answer so far to many emails and no hotline to call or real online chat.

Refused a refund on a product I was entitled to according to Australian consumer law. Never shopping here again just got to BCF or Bunnings or anywhere else that actually treats customers with respect. Don't understand their business model, miss out on thousands of dollars of purchases over a lifetime because you wouldn't refund a $99 product that clearly failed.

Warning: Anaconda Online Store
I placed two online orders and paid $14.99 extra for each order for express postage (advertised at delivered in 1-4 business days) When the items arrived 5 & 7 days after the order, I requested reimbursement of the express delivery fee, which was clearly not fulfilled as advertised. To my surprise, Anaconda has so far refused to reimburse the express fee, making all sorts of excuses. I can only warn customers not to purchase from these guys - or certainly not pay for express freight. Extremely disappointed by the service, poor communication and lack of accountability. Many of the packages are also poorly packed and arrived damaged.

False and Misleading Boxing Day Sale…
False and Misleading Boxing Day Sale prices. Looked at a pair of Merrel mens sandals for $129 2 months ago, went into Geelong store and the same sandals up to 50% off Boxing Sale were $139. What a scam. Report them for false and misleading advertising and for deceptive sales practices like Coles and Woolworths. This Company are Rs-holes!

Received a used insta360 Flow…Complaint resolved in 24hrs
DID ANACONDA COME TO THE PARTY AFTER SENDING DUD GOODS?
The answer is YES.
I was contacted within 24hrs, given an apology and an option of replacement or refund. As they had no other stock I got a full refund by returning the gimble to the store at Mile End.
Here is the sweetener. The girl at the counter checked their floor stock and Anaconda had a brand new sealed box in stock. So I bought that.
So now I am a happy customer. Well done customer service Anaconda.
Original complaint resolved.
I have received a used insta360 Flow smartphone stabiliser bought from Anaconda. The box arrived unsealed, the gimble has finger prints on it. The box that holds the cable is missing so that the cable and phone clamp were loose and rattling around in the package. The protective hand grip is missing and the pouch is missing

Purchased a Columbia Women's…
Purchased a Columbia Women's Evapouration Jacket from Anaconda which deteriorated after a couple years of use. It came with a limited lift time warranty so I contacted Columbia to find out how I get this assessed as the interior of the jacket just fell apart. For a $200+ jacket this wasn’t good enough. Columbia said to send it in either fire y or (preferably) through the store I purchased from. I took the jacket and invoice to Anadonda Frankston and straight away I was treated by the store manager as though I had miss used the jacket (have you washed it as per instructions - yes, if you’ve worn make up they won’t cover warranty, I don’t wear make up, especially on the back of my neck????). Then instead of sending the garment to Columbia as we had discussed, they decided they would hold onto my jacket for a week and do their own ‘assessment’ saying the damage was from make up (noting again I don’t wear make up and there is absolutely no stains on the jacket). I know they just couldn’t be bothered sending the jacket back….seriously poor communication and poor customer service. Do yourself a favour and go to Kathmandu where they actually care about their products and the customer

hopelessly incompetent
They sent our product with a missing part.
Their customer service is really slow to non responsive. It'd take them 2 weeks to reply 1 email and they ignore all follow-up emails. They also sent the wrong replacement item twice, and has now become completely unresponsive. So the missing part is still missing. Their customer service are a bunch of hopelessly incompetent people.

Went to the Darwin store (Milner) today to purchase a child’s bike advertised and what I thought was in stock on the website. Was advised that there were noe in stock so I asked if I could purchase the one on display. Staff told me that I would have to pay $40 extra for a build fee. $40 for a $120 bike was i thought a bit expensive so i declined. Too bad Anaconda will not be back there.

I already sent 2 emails ( the last one was almost a month ago) and never had any answer. I bought a Teva sandals in December and after a few times wearing them they have broken completely with the heel strap on the left foot coming out of the sole. I want to enquire about what warranty you provide as I am quite disappointed. Generally Teva products are know to be durable.
Hope this message finds well and i will receive a response.
Thanks

1 order = x2 Errors
Ordered a pair or merrell hiking shoes online, as no stock in stores near me.
Received the order 1 week later, to find a single shoe and to make things worse the security tag was still attached.
Called customer support, who was unable to send a replacement until the single shoe was returned. This made me get a full refund, as I didnt have time to return the shoes as I was interstate and then subseqiently leaving overseas.
Customer support, didnt help with facilitating correcting their double error.

Dreadful online service
I live in rural NSW three hours drive from Coffs Harbour which is my nearest store. I recently (5/6/24) ordered a puffer jacket online from Anaconda. It arrived today (11/6/24) and all was well except it was too small so I rang Customer Care to ask to exchange it for a larger size. Apparently this isn't possible online and bearing in mind that I'm a three hour drive from the nearest store I can't physically return it and can only get a refund as this is their 'policy'. Ok, I accept that, but when I asked for a refund they told me it would take 3-4 weeks for them to generate a label which they'd send to me and only then could I return the jacket. Three to four weeks to generate a label and send it to me via email then who knows how much longer to process the return and refund the money? I told the customer service person that I wasn't happy with the delay. She sighed and said 'thanks for using Anaconda'. Well I won't be using them again. I'm cold, I need a warm jacket but apparently 'computer says no'. Ridiculous.

Worst online store in Australia
I ordered a "The North Face" jacket on sale for $280 order # 925998720 on 18th May and paid in full online. 3 days later I received an email advising the item was out of stock and a refund was to be processed. That's fine, poor inventory management system but no big deal. I was then online on the 31st May and saw the item being advertised again so I reordered it and paid in full again, order # 926026404. I then thought I would call the customer care number after I ordered it to confirm it was in stock this time and the order would be filled. She confirmed there was 15 items in stock. The next day I received another email advising it was out of stock and a refund was to be processed again. I then called the customer care number, reiterated everything including that I had called to confirmed the item was in stock after I ordered it and they basically said to bad, no goodwill gesture, no "we will fill it on back order for you at the sale price", NOTHING! So there are only 2 conclusions to draw from this. Either they are prioritising the fulfilment of east coast orders because the delivery costs are less for them ( I am in Perth and for orders over $100 they said delivery costs are free ). This is actually illegal to place one customers order ahead of another customer if payment has already be taken. The other alternative is they are trying to inflate their sales for the month by selling items they don't have and then processing refunds that they will run through their financials under a different accounting treatment perhaps in order to hit some internal targets for the month or hit some volume targets with the manufacturer. Also VERY ILLEGAL. Needless to say I will not be shopping at Anaconda again and I would be very careful about buying any of their online sales items.

Deceptive/misleading conduct
Please report deceptive/misleading conduct to the ACCC.
I tried to buy a sale jacket and they tried to charge me triple price even after I joined their club. Then I contacted the company and they sent an apology email with a new link to the product which was still being sold at a higher than sale price…
They actively alter prices and try to trick people into paying more, luckily I noticed the price discrepancy before I bought the item.
Please report your experience to the ACCC. If enough of us report they will prosecute Anaconda for false claims.
