They lie when bidding on business class seats. Do not fly with them. The airline sucks, their customer service sucks, their airplanes sucks, the food sucks. Everything about this airline is a travesty. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FLY ANY OTHER AIRLINE.

Worst freaking company every. Never flying with them ever again. They canceled my ticket out of nowhere. They told me, it's written on the ticket, but I never found anything about it on the ticket I bought. I had to buy another ticket as a direct flight back, that costed more than my return ticket I bought mainly. Thieves and liers.

I booked a ticket from Air Serbia around 3 months before the flight for me and my family. At some point in time, Air Serbia cancelled our flight without informing us. We learned that when we are at the airport trying to check in. We called Air Serbia and instead of fixing the issue, they offered us a new ticket with 5 times the price we paid. They said they cancelled our flight and paid the amount back and no other information why they did it. Although they said it was cancelled, 3 days before our flight, I received emails from Air Serbia asking if I want to upgrade my upcoming flight. When I told it, they said there was an error in the system. I booked another ticket from another airline for a much higher cost to go back home. I requested to be compensated for my loss but they did not care.

A positive experience

I flew London-Belgrade and back this week and it was a totally positive experience. Cabin crew very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for them as they carried out their duties with a smile. Will definitely use again.

If I could give a zero star I would !

If I could give a zero star (or minus) I would. I have been flying for 40 years with 20+ international airlines...Air Serbia is definitely one of the worst, if not the worst.

I bought a ticket to Belgrade through Expedia, and entered all my passport details and name correctly on Air Serbia website for my flight. For some bizarre reason the system had used the name on my initial reservation (with Expedia) for my boarding pass, and completely ignored all the passport details I have put on their website for this particular flight.

I got to the gate almost 1.5 hours before the departure, the agents (at the gate) simply were not interested in helping at all. It took Expedia more than an hour to change my name on their system, by then no-one is allowed to get on the plane. But also Air Serbia agents said that wouldn't have made any difference because they only cared about the paper boarding pass in my hand.

Expedia also told me later Air Serbia has cancelled the second half of my flight automatically because they deemed me as 'no-show'. But next morning I have received a welcome email from Air Serbia urging me to upgrade and pay more for my ticket which I already knew didn't exist...out of curiosity I followed the link and realised I could indeed pay again for a ticket that Expedia categorically told me didn't exist anymore.

Probably also worth mentioning I have paid for a premium seat for the flight I couldn't get on, and when the boarding pass was printed it had a random and non-paid-for seat allocated.

As said, this is the worst customer service and IT system I have seen. They only care about making money, every function is working in 'silos' - that's why the passport details (and paid-for premium seat) were not reflected on the boarding pass, and the department getting paid for the upgrades have no idea that the ticket is no longer valid.

So I wasted a whole week's non-refundable ski trip, but that's a lesson I have learned. Never ever fly Air Serbia !

AirSerbia or how to destroy your suitcase in one flight

Worst experience ever! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever fly with this company.

After they completely destroyed my suitcase, I immediately send a form to ask for the money I needed for my new suitcase. Then I needed to wait 60 days for them to answer me after I called them a couple of times and send them more e-mails. Then they just told me that their final decision is to ignore the damage that they made and not to pay me for the new suitcase. I’ve never Experience such level od unprofessionalism.

"Air Serbia" is a joke. A bad one.

First (and last) time I flew with them on Jan 2nd 2025 and all I have to say is: STAY AWAY from this so-called airline company.

I was travelling from Oslo to Athens via Belgrade, and this could really be a very lengthy post, but I will spare you the particulars of my horror story and give you the main points instead:

-Flight delayed 2 hrs at Oslo, no explanation given.

-Upon arrival at Belgrade, clueless staff and no company representative who could responsibly answer questions and provide guidance.

-Seriously unorganized transfer process from the airport to the hotel. Endlessly waiting for the bus and losing further time due to the amateur way of boarding the passengers.

-Instead of taking us to our final destination in Athens, they flew us to Thessaloniki and exhausted us further, by being indecisive on which connecting flight we should board for Athens - at some point, to our absolute terror, they even suggested us to fly from Belgrade to Vienna and from there to Athens..!!!!!!!

-Upon our arrival at Thessaloniki, our paid for luggage was appearing as unpaid at the system. I know at least another passenger who had to pay again for his already paid luggage.

-In the meantime no counter available and no representative of the company at Thessaloniki and Athens airports - only a malfunctioning call center.

-A trip supposed to last 6 hours (including layover), lasted well over 22 hrs...

Need I say more? STAY AWAY...!!!!

Are there any competent authorities monitoring the operation and performance of such companies?
Why do passengers have to endure this?

P.S.
For what it's worth, I believe that their pilots are good - at least that was my experience.

Worst flying company in Europe

Air Serbia is the worst company i have ever fly. It's always delayed in every trip, if you have any connection flight you probably going to lose it. Is the only company in Europe that doesn't allow you to check in online from all Airports. In my recent trip from oslo I couldn't check myself in not even from the counters. I had a connection flight from Belgrade to Athens which I need it to run to catch it. If someone wants to risk his trip and his money can easily book with Air Serbia. You don't get any refund

HORRIBLE Service!! They Broke my suitcase!!

My family and I, two adults, a toddler and a baby traveled back to Oslo from Athens on September 25th. We got to the airport in Oslo in the evening, and just grabbed our luggage in a hurry with two young children and went home. When we arrived home and I was going to open the suitcases I found that one of the suitcases was broken, in the sense that it’s no longer possible to use (don’t know the name of those things that hold the suitcase together on the back, but one of them was broken so the suitcase is not possible to close) I went on Air Serbia’s website to submit a damage claim, but since I did not have a damage report from the airport it was not possible as that was a mandatory step. I called air Serbia, and they told me to send an email to them. I did. It took several days before they replied, completely ignoring what I had written and told me to use the form on their website to file a claim. I explained again that I cannot do that without a damage report. I didn’t hear from them for a long time, and I decided to call again, they told me to resend the email. I did. Then a day later they repaint again that I must use the form on their website. I explain again that I cannot and I ask them kindly to read my email. Then several days later, today,November 15th, they email back telling me they cannot find a damage report so therefor they have closed the case…!!! They couldn’t find the damage report I do not have😂 Should I cry or laugh I don’t know. My suitcase cost me 5000 NOK. Air Serbia are responsible for breaking it, and they are completely fine with doing so. Outrages and disrespectful. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

never again airline

osl-beg: 2 hour delay without information. beg-ath: on time. 2 check-in bags delayed by 7 days, 1 totaled (hardcase cracked near wheel). claim filed with air serbia without response, subsequent claim filed via ritardo aereo (lawyer) unsuccessful, whereby the lawyer already informed upon filing that air serbia generally wouldn't accept any claims.

Flight Review of flight JU426 BEG-IST

**Flight Review: Belgrade to Istanbul on October 11, 2024**

I recently had the pleasure of flying from Belgrade (BEG) to Istanbul (IST) on a 17-year-old Airbus A319-132 (YU-APE). The journey was a delightful experience from start to finish.

**Boarding Experience:**
Boarding was smooth and punctual, with the process starting right on time. The pleasant boarding music set a relaxing tone for the trip, and the efficiency of the staff ensured that everything went off without a hitch.

**In-Flight Service:**
Once on board, we were treated to a plazma snack and water, a simple yet thoughtful gesture that added to the overall comfort of the flight. The flight attendants, dressed in their beautiful uniforms, were courteous and attentive, enhancing the pleasant atmosphere.

**Flight Details:**
The flight itself was remarkably smooth, with a scheduled departure at 00:55 and an actual departure at 00:58. We landed ahead of schedule at 03:05, instead of the planned 03:35, making the flight time a swift 1 hour and 7 minutes.

**Overall Impression:**
The combination of efficient boarding, attentive service, and a smooth flight made this trip a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The airline's attention to detail and commitment to passenger comfort were evident throughout the journey. I would highly recommend this route and look forward to flying with them again in the future.

Being delayed is the norm

Being delayed is the norm. They behave as if loading and unloading a passengers was their first time every time. Passengers with excessive luggage are allowed into the flight causing congestion, people without Room To put their luggage delays loading and delays unloading.

Ticket not issued, money not refunded

I was charged money, but no ticket was issued. It's been 19 days now that support claims the money has been refunded and I just don't see it. It was a $350 ticket, otherwise I would have just balked. But we'll have to go to court. I won't say anything about flight postponements. I managed to fly out on time once, but that was it.

Worst airline

It's the worst airline ever. They lie to their customers and let them believe there will be one price and then they end up charging you the other price. They are charging hidden fees and claiming you got a promotional ticket, when I told them I was not aware it was "a promotional ticket as I regularly purchased the ticket and asked them how to know if the ticket was promotional because it didn't say anything on the website they didn't have the answer. So I guess you need a magic wand to know what are you purchasing from their website. I just called the ruddiest customer service ever. I called the support, and lady Jovana (she didn't wanna tell me her last name) was very unhelpful, very rude and she barely could speak Serbian not to mention the English language. She used phrases that made no sense in any language. Customer service should be at least fluent, their base job is to communicate with customers. When I asked why it didn't say anything on the website she told me I should've called them to buy a ticket. When I asked why there is an option to use the website if they are hiding the information, they didn't have the answer. Anyway at the end I had to pay a huge penalty with really no explanation from their side. I'm calling my lawyer to see if there is something I can do against misleading the customers.
